Phone is junk for what we pay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The phone never gets good service. You pay out the end to get but the speaker blows the phone glitches out. The battery starts to die faster and takes longer to charge. These phones aren't what worth what we pay for them.

Beyond Pleased

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having been absent from Samsung phones for years, I picked up the S23 Ultra after seeing previews of the camera, specs, battery life, and audio quality. The biggest appeal of the phone is the battery life. My prior phone could hardly hold a charge for hours, however the S23 Ultra has blown me away by how long I can actively use the phone before it goes blow 50%. From playing games, to watching videos, or to using a GPS app, I can rely on the battery not being dead when I need it most.

New Phone Honeymoon Phase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the phone for a little over a week. My old phone was a 4 year old phone that was slowing down and showing its age. It was time to upgrade.
Since don't upgrade often, I'm comparing it to 4 year old technology, so I can't say with authority how it compares to other modern phones.
The camera is really good. I haven't found all the functions, but from the pics I've taken, I'm very impressed.
The battery life is also really good.
It is fast. The interface is very smooth while scrolling.
Now the less favorable.
The transfer to new phone app didn't copy settings from my old phone. It seemed to only copy the apps so I didn't have my game progress. If I knew that, I wouldn't have bothered since changing phones is a good time to cull unused apps.
There's a lot of junkware.
Still getting used to the lack of headphones jack.
I would have liked a microSD card slot, especially when the pictures take up so much space. This is probably my biggest peeve.
In all, it's a good phone and I will live with the deficiencies.

The camera is to die for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with the camera on this phone. The low light pictures that it takes are amazing. I take a lot of pictures of my dogs, and I'm used to having to take 20 pictures at a time, just to hope one might turn out, but now they all look great. That alone makes this phone worth it.
If I were to say anything negative about the phone, it's just that I'm annoyed that there are no options for micro SD cards. All phones have done away with that, though, and I don't know why. I hate being forced to use the cloud, if prefer to be able to just buy an SD card. I use up space fast with photos and videos, so I end up having to pay a lot for cloud storage. I'm still giving it 5 stars though, since that's not just a problem with this model, it's all phones.
