Fantastic Upgrade from a Note 10+

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since the "retirement" of the Note line, I've been skeptical if the higher end phones could match my Note experience. And, I'm glad to say the the Galaxy S23 Ultra more than matches my previous Note experiences (all the way back to the Note 3).
The screen, battery length and speed are all fantastic. The camera .... just Wow.
Only gripe is that I miss my SD card input and wish Samsung would bring that back for the highest end device.
If you are a Note owner and have been worried the Ultra line would be a let down, don't worry.

Just like the note

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It feels heavier in my hand then the note did but I don't mind it it feels lighter than the iPhone 13. It just feels durable. I love that it has an SPen like the note.. the camera is great especially at night. I don't like that color (red seems more orange) but it's always in a case so not a big deal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a point of reference, I've had Samsung phones since the first Note came out and usually update every 3 years. I've had the S23 Ultra for about a week now and all I can say IS, WOW! First off, the battery... Which lasts all day with power to spare. Easily the best performance yet. Speaking of performance, it's FAST! I've put it through its paces and the processor is smooth, quick and efficient. The optimizing features for the camera and battery further make it a great experience. Speaking of the camera... Samsung has dialed it in perfectly! Amazing! An extraordinary camera! I've taken videos, night shots, zoom shots (wow!), scanned documents and ran it through its paces and the clarity and features are the best yet! As a proud Samsung owner of many years, the overall features and performance of the S23 Ultra make it a pleasure to own and use. Well done Samsung!

Still getting used to it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from S10+. Clearly, the S23 Ultra is a much better phone. The battery life is meaningfully better, the storage is great, the pics are much better. However, and maybe because I'm still learning it, I have found a couple of glitches that I can't understand, particularly with sound, notifications, etc.
On a couple of occasions, my notifications sound has been muted. I have checked the settings and found them correct, and I have had to restart my phone to reset it.
The sound quality of the phone is excellent. I am just beginning to use the pen but I can see that it has a lot of functionality and I will definitely use it more.
Many told me to switch away to the obvious other choice but I decided to stay with Samsung. Overall, I would buy it again and I am confident that more use will enhance my experience.
