Swiss Army Knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What is their not to like about this phone, it has it all. Captures the moment in every scenario with its outstanding and astonishing camera. The processing unit is ridiculously fast, so you're never lagging when opening apps and going through then left and right. Such a slick and smooth screen that you'll end up binge watching your favorite Netflix series or, see the amazing definition of dragon fire from the House of Dragon's. In all, this device can make your power points easy as well if you're needing to show off at work your skills and value in seconds. Samsung, the Swiss army knife that will never let you down.

Great ALS Communication Tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was missed diagnosed with a stroke last year because I was having trouble talking. So I bought this phone the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to use as a communication tool for face to face interactions. I love the fact that I can use this phone in multiple ways to communicate with others. I usually use this phone with the text to speech options. I have a lot of doctors appointments because of my ALS and I usually don't take anyone with me to my appointments so I really I this phone big time. Before I go my doctors appointments I usually type up a document stating what I want to accomplish at that appointment, so I use my phone to construct that document. Next at the doctor's appointment I use the text to speech options on my phone. After the appointments I follow with my doctors about any concerns or questions with a email or text message using my phone. All in all I think this phone awesome! The only thing I don't care for is the external speaker isn't loud enough in public situations when I'm using the text to speech options.

The screen is surprisingly scratch resistant seeing as I haven't had a screen protector on in months and I haven't seen more than a couple off smaller scratches on the bottom edge.

The best camera I've ever tested

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have photography as a hobby. I loved to carry my camera everywhere. But a big DSLR camera is troublesome when you go as a tourist and like to walk a lot and use transit like me.
So I try to get the best phone camera, this allows me to capture the moment the best way possible.
The S23 Ultra is amazing for this. The camera is really good, fast and reliable.
The optical zoom works wonders. I usually like to have full control over the camera, Samsung includes Expert Raw, this allows me to fine tune the pictures I take.
But is not only the camera itself. The phone has a powerfully processor that allows fast capture of pictures and even some processing in many apps. I've been amazed how fast I can do corrections to the pictures (saturation, tone, exposure and other adjustments) in my favorite app. I have to confess, I usually did this on the PC because, but with the S23 Ultra, I think I can do it fast and nice on the phone.
And, talking about PC connectivity, one thing I loved was how easy was to transfer the files to a Windows PC, it was almost like the phone was born for my workflow.
Is a great phone, it clear that Samsung knows what it is doing and has experienced with the user needs.
I still have to play more with the s-pen (is amazing how well it works). I'm yet to test doing art with it

Great phone overall!!

My only complaint is a recent one with the newest UI update.
I this new update, when you are in a phone call with an automated menu that requires a touch tone, they audible tone only works now if you have system sound and notification sound turned on. I have run my phone on silent for over 8 years as I have aleays had a smartwatch that alerts me to incoming calls or text. I cannot have my ringer and sound notifications on for my job.
Not a huge deal but the first time that an annoyance was worth mentioning. Like why would you even bother changing this. There is a setting to tune off the touch tone noise if you don't want it.
