A powerful, complete and premium smartphone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my reluctance to purchase a top of the line flagship phone again but historically I've been a believer in paying for what you get in a smartphone.
The S23 Ultra disappoints nowhere, so glad I made the upgrade from my S9+.
I watch lots of high resolution content online, movies and TV shows also stand out on this beautiful display. This beast of a phone handles absolutely any game with buttery smooth graphics with little to no overheating (Genshin Impact runs perfect with max settings). The multitasking ability is also very well polished and so helpful for work. These things and more combined make the overall experience using the phone an easy 5 stars across the board.
With features like an ultra powerful camera, great speakers for playing music, an absolutely stunning 120 hz refresh screen, fantastic 5,000 mAH battery (only have to recharge at night after a full 8 hours of use), extremely sturdy build quality, a Snapdragon 8 gen 2 chipset that handles anything you throw at it and 8 - 12 GBs of RAM means you are going to get a complete and premium smartphone experience everytime you use your device. A special note here for the S-Pen, it's my first time using one and I don't know how I liked using a smartphone before without one! If you value productivity or use your phone a lot for work the S-Pen is invaluable. I also enjoy drawing with it.
Overall, Samsung has really outdone themselves this time. No complaints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about the phome is amazing. Only con i see coming from a long time Note user is the fact that they limited the storage options by removing the sd card slot. Only way to get higher storage is by purchasing the 1TB unlocked version. I hate that its not offered by most carriers.

Not 5 stars, because phone is Missing SD card slot. Not everyone wants to keep things in the "cloud". I don't think the idea of mocking apple and global changes will take you very far. Let the Samsung continue being the best!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my phone battery! Last all day even with the GPS on. I love the fact that you can see your screen in the sun! How cool is that previous phone would have a glare and the brightness wasn't high enough. My only reason for the 4-star review and not a 5 star is the phone is heavy, no sd card and the camera had an issue but I see you are working on a software patch?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I miss the ability to add a mini-SD card, even though I have 1TB of space. I would be able to transfer directly from the mini-SD to my laptop and back.
The upgrade process left me with missing data, so I had to re-install some apps, such as Bitdefender, which was missing its validation. So I needed to re-issue an invitation to install. A game was missing the fact I had paid for no ads, and that never resolved successfully, so I uninstalled the game. Otherwise, I was able to recover the app data from either the app's site, or from the backup I made.
I have yet to figure out how to use the multiple cameras, for any fancy shots. Being colorblind limits my use of the many filters provided. I just don't see the difference. However, I have added a shot I think is cool.
Size, shape and weight are fine. It's is only slightly bigger than the Note 10+ I had before this.
Processor speed and battery life are very good. Apps are responsive. I recharge overnight, just as a matter of habit, though it appears I could do this every other night.
No complaints about connectivity either to my WiFi, or to the vendors mobile network (4g only).
I was able to connect to my Windows PC easily enough, deleting my old phone and connecting the new one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great phone with amazing battery life. My only nit picks would be for Samsung to bring back the microsd card slot and the 3.5mm headphone jack. Other than that this phone is amazing.

Beast of a phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is a do it all type of device. Everything is what you need plus more. Highly likely you won't even take advantage of all the perks of this phone because it's that many.
The number one perk is easily the camera. If have taken SEVERAL photos and have NEVER used my flash. I literally only use my flash for the flashlight to find stuff. The zoom is great to use to see thing far away you can't see with the naked eye. The camera overall is impressive as a just point and shoot but then you also have the expert raw mode that can import straight to Adobe lightroom. That pro functionality is *chef's kiss*!
Only thing I can really think that is a downfall is the fact they decided to get rid of expandable memory. That really sucks. Being Abltle to have a SD card to drop stuff on your computer and come back with a clean card is priceless. The fact Samsung got rid of that is a little disheartening. I'm adapting but there are always times where it comes back up. If expandable storage was available I'd be a samsung loyalist. The fact it's not always keeps the door open to phones that DO have it and the iPhone because they're similar phones but different OS.
Speaking of the OS, I like how Samsung has cut back on the thick skin over top of android. The experience is much cleaner although it can be a little cleaner (duplicate of apps and app stores is irritating).
