Bad software

The problem is, that it absolutely awful in detecting sleep. I've been using mine almost a month, so if there any ML on sleep tracking(I wear them EVERY night) - I don't know, how much time it needs to learn. Cons 1. Sometimes it can't correctly detect when I woke up, giving me extra 15-20 minutes of sleep(ex. I woke at 8:00, watch says 8:20) 2. It can't detect naps automatically. Yes you can input nap time in Galaxy Health, but why do I need to do it manually, if its's possible to detect (even my old not Samsung-band could do it) 3. I've come around many people on internet making posts(on reddit, Samsung forum) about "How bad this watches detect sleep phases". It usually tells me about ~20-40 minutes of deep sleep, which doesn't seems to be true. (You can read people comparing them with other watches, even polysomnography) All of problems looks like software problems. But month after release we didn't get any fixes.
Pros 1. Nice sport detection 2. Interesting interface 3. Amazing bezel 4. Battery life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The device works correctly, my only complaint is the battery time, when you exercise every day and obviously have it measure your activity its duration does not even reach 24 hours, when you are a user at rest just to see the time and that From time to time its battery responds better almost 72 hours but it is still acceptable, not the best performance. On the other hand my wrist is very thin and I would like to have a watch with all the premium features in a smaller model, I am a man of 172 cm height and slim and that watch on my wrist looks like borrowed, the reason why sacrificed design (Watch series 5) was because of the features that were not TOP and because its battery drained very quickly while exercising daily, thinking that the Watch 6 was going to have better performance and I think it improved in that condition by 20 percent.

Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the galaxy watch 3 before this one and the upgrade was definite there. I love that the watch keeps track of heart rate, steps, and other health related measurements. The sleep tracking is the one I use the most to try and get an idea for home my day will be based on the sleep I got the night before and keeping track of exercise has helped for getting an idea of how much I worked out in a week.
It's also very nice with the notifications and alarms coming from my phone so that I don't need to grab my phone to handle the notifications and dismiss alarms/reminders. Typing on the watch for text messages is pretty easy and quick and the apps installed are easy to find as well as adding apps to it. Customizing the watch interface to my preferences was really easy and quick to do from the watch itself and the phone app.

Beautiful Watch with Amazing Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Samsung Galaxy watch 6 classic 43 mm Bluetooth edition watch about the week ago. I bought the silver stainless steel version and it looks amazing. It looks more like a luxury watch than a smartwatch. The Watch is very fluid, it doesn't lag at all everything works perfectly fine. I get about 2 days of battery life with this watch. In my opinion this is a must buy.
This watch takes over a minute to boot up then another 30 to 45 seconds before you can start using it. I use the watch for 6 hours a day at work and only maybe half of my notifications come through, I see them on my phone but not the watch, some times it vibrates and other times it wont. I been through the settings a dozen times and watched many videos on setting it up. The notification indicator light also works sporadically, and swiping around the watch is not smooth. this was a upgrade from a samsung galaxy active2 watch that worked fine for 3 years, Very fustrated and disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We noted your concerns about not getting notifications as well as your watch lagging. We recommend checking your notification settings. To check this, open the Galaxy Wearable app on the connected phone, then tap Watch settings, and then tap Notifications. Tap App notifications, and then verify the switch next to the features are turned on. Do not Disturb mode, Goodnight mode, and Theater mode are silent modes that minimize distractions by silencing your watch. Depending on the mode, alarms and alerts may be silent and the touchscreen may not turn on during incoming calls. You can press any key on the watch, rotate the bezel, or raise your wrist to turn on the screen and check for incoming calls. If the watch screen is slow to respond, frozen, or not responding at all the issue could be caused by outdated software, a third party app, or even the watch's physical condition. Unclean hands, optional accessories, gloves, and sharp objects can also prevent the screen from responding properly. Make sure to charge your watch and force the watch to reboot. Press and hold both buttons on the watch until the screen displays "Rebooting...". Now update the watch software. Software updates include improvements to stability and reliability. Keep your watch updated for the best performance. Love it! I understand the complaints though

I understand why many people complaints about the battery but this watch is awesome!!! It's challenging to have a big battery and a watch that doesn't look bulky. I believe Samsung and Google have done a great job with this watch. It looks classic, stylish and slim, even though I bought the 47mm. I'm happy now it can last an entire day without draining all the battery while doing a day of bicycling exercise like the Watch 4 used to do. I'm so happy with it!

Battery drain

Have Watch 6 for 4 days. Horrible battery drain. With EVERYTHING off, drains to zero in 5 hours. Did ALL the recommendations. Nothing worked. Can't even tell the time for more than 5 hours. Sad
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Junk, My older Samsung watch was so much better.

Significant issues so far. It overheats when charging almost immediately. It did not come with a charger! I am using my old OEM samsung charger from my other watch. Samsung got "cute" with the watch Lugs and they are angled instead of the standard straight lugs that support good bands. The band that can=me with the watch is quite uncomfortable. The blood pressure monitoring is not functional in the US. This watch looks cheap, but I bought it instead of just having the battery on my Gear S3 watch replaced. Also, the watch came charged at 85% and was down to 35% in just 9 hours. My 7 year old watch, with the degraded battery goes almost as long on a charge. I have ordered a new charger, but if I can't even get it to charge, I will have to return it.
