Wildly Inaccurate

I have used Samsung devices since the first Note 1 and see the quality has dwindled while the price continues to rise. This watch has been the most inaccurate of all of the other four watches I've owned. Since recent updates in second quarter of 2025, the watch can't calculate sleep properly. It shows that I am awake hours of my night now when I'm not and it seems that the issue is because it cannot accurately track REM sleep through the entire night. I have watch mainly for sleep tracking, what it no longer does accurately! No longer buying expensive Samsung products that work just as well as cheap knock-offs or worse.

Watch is great, new bands are faulty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The actual watch is great. It has great flexibility with apps and the rotating crown makes everything easily accessible. It is great for fitness as it tracks motions and location well. The battery does not last several days like my old watch, but the charging is so fast you can top it off without missing a beat.
My major complaint about the watch is their new button release on the band as the bands just disconnect from the watch without warning, risking the watch to hit hard pavement and damage. Luckily I had caught the each each time it fell, but had to swap to the fabric band as that one does not fall off. Unfortunately samsung won't just replace the band, but you have to send the entire watch away - so I guess I have to just throw away the original band and buy third-party.

Much improved version of the Classic watch!

So I have had this new watch for a about a month now, and I can say it's been a nice upgrade. I traded in a Watch 4 Classic 46mm LTE for this Watch 6 Classic 47mm and I'm more than satisfied. The relative subtle differences are actually quite large.
1st - The smaller bezel has made the watch gain a huge amount or screen real estate while retaining the classic bezel experience which I can say is epic. The screen itself is much brighter, which is now readable in direct sunlight no problem, and has a higher DPI so things are even more thrilling to view.
2nd) New OS is liquid smooth, and the small upgrade in ram/processor speed has complimented this new OS. It's stable, fast and just works!
3rd) The new software has much better battery management complimenting the new bigger battery. The first week or so it was still learning my habits so the life of the battery was barely making it through an entire day. Now that the learning curve has been completed, the battery life is much more improved. So much so, I'm now impressed. It lasts through an entire day and night, before having to get a recharge. The new charger easily charges this watch almost twice as fast as my Classic 4 so it's back on my wrist in no time.

Horrendous battery life, save your money.

Watch barely lasts a day, even with always on display amd other settings turned off. I've only had it a couple weeks and multiple times now I've gone to bed with >50% battery and woken up with the watch battery dead/drained. It's a good product otherwise but who cares when the battery life is so awful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great software, not so good hardware

Got this to upgrade my watch5, had galaxy wear devices since the watch 3 and as an avid cyclist had the HR, GPS and recovery metrics always present when using this biometric measure device.
This iteration, or at least the one I've got, was wildly innacurate on HR and recovery (sleep) cycles.
Where my watch5 and a whoop device I own since the start of this year where marginally close the watch6 did not get close to either.

As fitness and tracking of biometric KPIs is my main use I'm disappointed by the lackluster performance and nonchalant brand attitude of the brand for what could be the core fan base of this line.
All other features do as they promise, play music, pay, read messages and the software is intuitive and easy to get. If that's your main use get one.
So I'm sticking to my wear5 for the time being even when I'm truly missing the watch6 dial crown.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

2-days battery life guaranteed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am telling you, as much as I enjoyed my Galaxy Watch4 Classic, the new Galaxy Watch6 Classic is worth the upgrade un every sense.
A beautiful big colorful bright screen. As I got the 47mm you'll definitely see the difference when you get one. I immediately pulled it out and it was love at first sight.
2-days battery life? You are to worry no more about running out of battery when you most need it. I've been able to make it to a second night in time to set it for a quick night charge. Also, the quick charge feature was the best thing to be added on this devices. In the blink of an eye and you're already done.
Active life is a very different thing with my Galaxy Watch6 Classic. Auto detection of activities leaves me no worries about my scores and keeping up on how weel I'm doing.
Also, I loooooove my eco leather black wrist band. I can have a doble life with the same band, sporty and classic haha. Love it, loooooove it.
Samsung definitely dare themselves with the release of this new Galaxy watch. I don't know, or better, I'm really anxious to see on how they will work on the next one. Just, keep the ring on the Classic, please :D
