Fantastic Upgrade with Incredible Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear this device (almost) 24/7, and let me tell you, it is an absolute game changer. I am coming from the galaxy watch 1, and the screen is greatly improved, as well as the overall "snappiness" of the device. Everything works faster, you can tell the clear performance improvements from the moment you turn it on, also with a ton of new features. The new features (that I find myself using frequently) are the sleep tracking, gestures, and health sensors. The sleep tracking is amazing, this device tells me not only how much I slept, but also how well I've slept. It is fun to see the cycles of sleep I've experienced and learn about their individual impact on my mental and physical recovery. Also, it's actively helping me to get better sleep in the process! The gestures are an absolute game changer. I ride a motorcycle, and using gestures I can answer or decline calls while on the road without having to take my hands off the handlebars. It has come in handy in many other applications as it is always helpful to not need my second hand in order to fully operate my watch. Watching the apple watch announcement yesterday had me laughing because this watch can already do all of that and more. Lastly, the health sensors are incredible! This new watch can detect, amongst other things, my heart rate, stress level, blood oxygen, and even conduct an ECG for heart arrhythmia! On top of all of this, it is comfortable and stylish. Overall, excellent product!

Great watch, but................

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I love most everything about this watch. The appearance is great, as is the build quality.
So far, the operating system has been buttery smooth and without lag. The battery life has been much better than expected and I'm getting over 2 days without a charge. Charging seems to be a little quicker than my old Watch4, too.
Now for the negatives. To utilize the electro-cardiogram, blood pressure and IHRN sensors you must use the Samsung Health Monitor app that is ONLY available from the Galaxy Store on a Samsung phone, so, forget that functionality if you have any Android phone other than one from Samsung. (Reeks of Apple) If you live in the United States and have a Samsung phone, the Samsung Health Monitor app is available, but, you can still forget the blood pressure and IHRN functions as they've not been approved by the FDA and are not available on the watch. ECG is available.
If your need for a smartwatch is primarily for time, weather, basic health tracking and notifications this watch can't be beaten and may be the best Android smartwatch available. It is certainly the best looking. Look elsewhere in the United States if your needs include any of the functions that must utilize the Samsung Health Monitor app.

Return of the Rotating King

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Samsung for bringing back the rotating bezel. It's the absolute best function on a smart watch. It allows me the versatility of checking out my notifications with a turn while tracking my health in a couple of turns without having to speed a lot of time searching in an app.
The sleep tracking feature is improved and more accurate giving me the opportunity to understand my sleep patterns so that I can know whether getting a good night's rest or not.
But the best feature has always been workout detection which automatically knows difference in the types of my workout from walking, jogging, to running.
The watch6 is puts everything that I live about Samsung devices right on my wrist with a turn of the bezel.
Oh and the 2 day battery life is great for good piece of mind too. Good comeback Samsung!

Q: Worth upgrading? A: A resounding yes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from a GW4C I wasn't expecting too much from upgrading but my oh my it turned out to be so worth the upgrade. The animations are snappier, the larger screen real estate is a godsend, and the increased battery life despite the screen size and brightness was very much welcomed. In short if you have an 'older' galaxy watch this is a worthy upgrade for you in my opinion.
For those of you wanting to dive in to the smartwatch realm, this is a great device to jump in to with. I personally believe you will be not only satisfied with your purchase but impressed as well.
