Loving my new Samsung Watch Ultra!! It looks sleek and amazing! Already getting compliments on it! Haven't had a chance to try out all of the features yet but can't wait!
Nice watch. Only issue is I see that it states overheating and cuts off and goes into airplane mode when it should not be doing so as it wasn't even in the sun. Concern yes. However, hopefully it will work out this quirk. Going for a run and will give it a real world test and if it does it again, I'll be calling or going another route as the sole purpose of me getting this watch was to be able to run with out a phone and if needed be able to call in case of an emergency. Phone has great features! The health data is also great to know. Samsung if you have any input on this issue or a fix please let me know..

Hey DRowland! Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback. We appreciate your insights. We noticed that you contacted us about your new Watch Ultra and we're glad you are enjoying the health features it offers. We understand that you use your watch for running and for emergencies. The watch has a Fall Detection feature that allows you to alert your emergency contact in case of a hard fall. We acknowledge that your watch may be overheating. Please note that we offer a 12-month limited warranty for manufacturer defects, and you also have the option to add Samsung Care+ for eligible devices. All Galaxy devices have a specific temperature range in which they operate best. While they may feel warm under certain conditions such as charging, this should not affect the device's performance or lifespan. However, if your devices become too warm, it could lead to issues. Please refer to the guide in the link below to help maintain your devices at their normal operating temperature. If this persists, don't hesitate to contact us at Samsung Support, and we will be happy to assist you further. - Kelvin https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00076952/ (overheating) smsng.us/Samsung- Support smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger smsng.us/X-Messages smsng.us/Samsung-Community smsng.us/Warranty-Info smsng.us/Samsung-Care-Plus
After trying for over a week and going back and fourth between Tmobile and Samsung, my watch ultra is finally activated as a standalone watch! Both Tmobile and Samsung need to figure out a more efficient way to allow the watch to operate as standalone. Samsung says the watch is standalone, Tmobile continues to tell customers no Samsung watch manufactured after 2018 will work as standalone ( yet they advertise standalone plans). Anywhere, Tmobile finally figured it out and my watch now fully functions as standalone ( as it should, as advertised). I am enjoying the watch, thus far. Samsung, please have a meeting with Tmobile
I had reservations about the size of the watch when I submitted my order. Those reservations quickly fell to the wayside once I had the watch on my wrist though. It is a large watch, but it doesn't really matter once you see it on your arm. The style and fashion of the watch quickly makes size a moot point. Size doesn't matter because the quality of the device is amazing. Battery life is amazing! Even with all the applications that I am running, I easily get two days of use on a charge. If I wanted to push it, I could get three full days. I'm not sure about the cost of it though, but the trade-in program softened that blow for me. It is easily worth the money that I had to invest in it. Simply put, the watch is amazing!
