[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although much meligned I love not having to charge my phone every day. Little spoken about feature is the speaker which is clear and loud. Music sounds great even when running.
I love the watch. I had the Oura Ring for the past 3-4 years but with the Ultra watch I have been able to replace Oura. The health data is excellent and especially the sleep data.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I saw these online and in YouTube videos I was very skeptical about it's design. Unboxing it and looking at it in person I ended up loving the design and it's performance is a big jump even from the 6.
Pros: The watch design appears nice, it sits comfortably on the wrist and feels somewhat premium. The screen is bright and sharp, which is expected from most modern smartwatches. The new strap mechanism is interesting, but I'll reserve judgment until I see how it holds up over time. The faster performance due to the new processor.
Cons: The battery life is abysmal. What a disappointment. Despite turning off the always on display, I've barely scraping by with 2 days. Frankly, that’s not impressive. Comparing it to my previous Samsung Classic Watch 4, it’s like choosing between two equally unappetizing options.
And here’s the kicker: Some important health features are exclusive to Samsung phones. If you’re not in the Samsung ecosystem, tough luck. That’s a significant drawback.
In summary, the watch has its merits, but the battery issue is a glaring flaw. Perhaps I’ve stumbled upon a lemon, and returning it might be my best move. So be aware.

Response from Samsung USBy R&R Team, September 19, 2024
Thank you for getting in touch with us, Nikita. We appreciate your feedback as we strive to make improvements. It seems that you contacted us to share your thoughts on the Galaxy Watch Ultra. The Watch Ultra offers features like multisport, allowing you to switch between sports and create your own challenges easily. We understand your concerns about the shortened battery life and receiving text messages from a group chat. LTE watches are set up with the service providers under a separate phone number from your phone, which is why the calls are likely going to the watch instead of the phone. The only available option on the watch is to block the number. To do this, open the Phone app on the Watch, select the number, scroll down, and tap "Block number." As far as the battery, we recommend making sure your watch is up to date with the latest software update available. From Settings, tap Software Update to check for available software updates. Check out the link attached for additional options to help optimize your Watch Ultra's battery life. If you have any further concerns or questions, please reach out to us at Samsung Support for further assistance. -Kelvin https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003232/ (battery) smsng.us/Samsung-Support smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger smsng.us/X-Messages smsng.us/Samsung-Community smsng.us/Warranty-Info smsng.us/Samsung-Care-Plus
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So let's start with the software and how smooth it is. Very snappy and responsive. I must say that I'm actually impressed with the watch faces from Samsung. I truly hope they continue to produce more watch faces because they are amazing. I love the ability to customize the faces even down to a granular level. The screen size is perfect, the build is substantial, the feel of the watch on my wrist if perfect. If your coming from any of the classics it's does feel like an upgrade. I miss the rotating bezel but honestly it's not a deal breaker for me. I'm actually excited to wear my watch again. This is not just another incremental update it's a major change and I love it.
Just received the white titanium yesterday and it's an attention grabber! Haven't been able to really get down and dirty into its features but everything about it so shouts premium. It's sporty and elegant at the same time. It looks so unique in comparison to other smartwatches. Samsung used the Galaxy Watch Sport and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and combined them into a super watch, the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra. Dear Samsung I am an avid user of Facer and others, which provides thousands of watch faces for my Galaxy watches but not for my Watch Ultra! Very very disappointing! Also, extremely disappointing is that the Watch Ultra nor Watch 7 cannot used with the wireless power share feature. Samsung is generally known for giving us the freedom and ability to create our own style with our devices, expressing our own individuality. I purchased the Watch Ultra ⌚️ and now it is mine, not Samsung's property anymore. I would like an explanation as to why access to such watch face designers as Facer is not restricted. Limiting your customers ability to use their purchases their own way will not win more customers and could, in fact, chase loyal customers away. Love the Watch Ultra but very very disappointed with no power share capabilities and no third party watch faces desiners, like Facer.
I’m upgrading from a Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. I bought the watch as I wanted more battery life and this watch does not disappoint. Mine shipped with firmware version AXFB and I’m getting 48 hours with BT on, WiFi and LTE on Auto AND AOD on.
The software is also way snappier with no lag.
Also the vibration motor got a big upgrade. It feels sort of like a PS5 Dual Sense Controller vs an N64 Rumble pack on the previous watch.
Lastly, I like the new band attachment system. It provides a loud positive click confirming that the band is fully seated unlike the vagueness that can sometimes happen with the usual watch band pin system.
