The best phone Ever! DeX ! Camera!

I have not had one single problem the entire time I've had this phone I would recommend anyone to get this phone.

After several false starts, I was finally able to trade an 8 1/2 year old Galaxy S7 (32gb) for a S22 Ultra (256gb). I have never been one to splurge every couple of years on a new phone. If it works why spend the money. When I decided it was time, my wife and kids always seemed to be ahead of me in line for new equipment (went along with them just to keep the peace in the family). Everyone was set as of last Xmas. Being thrifty (kids say cheap), I have been waiting for this year's Xmas promos to opened up at TMo. Now I realize I am going from a well worn compact car to an opted out sports car. So comparisons may be a little stilted. I have been over the moon with the S22 U. Couple that with TMo's 5G, it has been well worth the wait. This phone is amazing. It fits nicely in my hand and has a solid feel. The performance is insane. I can't wait to take the camera out for a shoot. I have made some professional looking photos with my S7 (even as old as it is). So pics with the Ultra should be off the hook. Battery life has been great and connecting with S3 Frontier has been no problem. Since I tend to make things last forever I probably should have sprung for the 512gb model. But my fiscally conservative nature took over. If you are looking for a top of the line flagship phone, your search is over.

Great Camera

I got my S22 Ultra about a month ago after using my S10 for while. I really like the new design and upgraded camera performance. I also like the pen that came with it, but the performance and battery compatibility is very sub par. I definitely prefer the Samsung over iPhone and hoping the next Samsung Andriod can surpass any future iPhone. Ive had to restart my phone many times and I haven't even used a quarter of the memory storage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

S22 Ultra factory unlocked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works seamlessly with Straight Talk. Moved my sim from the old phone to the new one and everything switched without issue. Samsung app to transfer all my old files worked perfectly.
I expected a little longer battery life, but i do have battery protection turned on (limits battery to 85% capacity). I can get through most of a day with one charge, but if it's a heavy internet day, I need the charger.
Camera function is somewhat disappointing. My wife uses Apple and their cameras just beat the ones Samsung uses. My photos are fine on screen, but they show a lot of graininess if your try to expand them. With the 108 megapixel and telephoto lenses, i was expecting a significant improvement over my old A71, but it's not there. The other flaw is camera speed. The automatic settings are just too slow while using manual mode is cumbersome.
The screen is vibrant. The stylus makes things easy, especially if you're fingers are cold or you need to be more precise.
Overall, I'm pleased with most features of the phone. Hoping Samsung puts more effort into the camera.

Best Phone I've ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ended up buying this phone month and a half ago. I prior had a Galaxy NOTE 10+. I was truly waiting for the s23 ULTRA
but I had an accident and broke the phone completely. so either pay the phone deductible or get a new one. I opted for the latter.
I'm glad I did. this phone has everything I need plus some pretty cool new features.
honestly, I'm into quality pictures so now that I know that the new S23 ultra is going to have a 200mp camera and a Snapdragon quad-core processor is bittersweet, but a 140mp camera really does the job and I love the fact that a S-pen still there.
anyway. very happy about this purchase and will keep this phone for a few years of course, before I trade it for a new one.
