Galaxy S22 Ultra, 256GB (Unlocked)

The phone gets hot quickly. I had the Galaxy S21 Ultra. I did not encounter that problem. I trade-in my phone because the screen was broken. I am extremely disappointed.

Battery life

I bought this almost a month ago and i am VERY disappointed with the battery life since it is not even taking a full day to drain it. I have upgraded from S20 Ultra and I regret my decision since that phone sometimes was taking me 2 days to drain battery eith normal use. I dont play games or use social media. They really need significant update for the battery life. I always have been a Samsung user and would like to stay as is if necessary updates are pushed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My best Galaxy so far

I got this phone as an upgrade trading in the Fold 4 I had for under a year. (pass on the fold as a bad and expensive device). I don't use the pen very often, but when I want to, I have it! The phone is big, as was the Note series. The on screen finger print reader has finally been refined and works most of the time when the face ID misses for whatever reason. Camera is great albeit sometimes slow on a macro focus shot. I really like the less curved top and bottom edges of the Ultra as opposed to other brands high end phones. Get Samsung's upgraded warranty coverage and a good case elsewhere and enjoy this phone!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Data drops constantly
on October 5, 2022

The phone loses data connection from your network and has to be restarted constantly. Not the first Samsung phone to have issues with this. It's a really expensive brick that can't operate outside of your home wifi, every update they put out makes it disconnect more..

Defective screen (expanding blob) right after 1yr

Defective screen right after 1yr expired!!!! Im still paying it off!
All of a sudden a black blob appeared around the front camera... its a blob of dead pixels thats expanding outwards. Quick google search found many people with the same problem. Unfortunately mine happened right after 1 year warranty expired. Never buy a samsung again. I still owe around half price of phone as this was on a 2 year payment plan. Worst experience ever. Phone has been babied Nd never dropped.

This new phone have no sd card slot or sensors to check heart rate or oxygen levels. I should have kept my old note 8. I liked it a lot better than this one.

Expensive, Bulky Impractical NOTE replacement

You can definitely use it as a brick against a home intruder.
I had NOTE 2, 4, and 9 and was most happy with Note 4, because of its transportability and the quick access to the battery.
With S22, the NOTE users were forced to give up a lot.
Samsung flooded this phone with lots of Bloatware, running on the background, compromising the battery life and forcing it to include a giant battery that adds 1 Oz/30gr because of dimensional changes including the screen size.
If Samsung offers its phone, free of any preinstalled app with a shorter Stylus, and gives more control to users, the phone screen doesn’t need to be larger than 5.7’-6.1”, and a battery size of 3000mAh will last around 10-12 hours of screen use or more than 2 days between charges.
Consumers also don’t have to pay for the fastest processor, while getting slowed down by background apps.
Hey Samsung;
Make a light 150 grams, 5.7” screen with a good Camera and Stylus, 5G, and Wi-Fi 6 under $500.
It should fit in Jeans or (Surf) short side/back pocket. Include a magnetic cover case, like TAB S8+ for those that carry it in a purse with their keys.
You can do by far a nicer design than others if you put your talent into it.

I've been loyal to the Samsung brand for years but this phone doesn't even work with Android Auto. How is this possible? I have a 2022 Acura and my note worked perfect and I should of kept it. For the first time sine my S3 I really think it's time too switch brands.
