Bought it a week ago, camera is amazing although the video call camera at night on whatsapp is a bit filtered which makes one look cakey and not good. That's the disappointment

The best 2023 phone

I bought my S23 Ultra 3 weeks ago and I love my new baby. I'm Coming from a S21 Ultra and not regrets the change. I love in particular the batery life. Thank Samsung.

I've had three Samsung Notes over the years. The last one was the Note 9. Then my children, who all have iPhones, forced me to try Apple, so I bought the iPhone 13 Pro Max. One year later, I'm back with Samsung and have the S23 Ultra. It's good to be back!
What I'm enjoying (and missed on the iPhone):
- abundant useful widgets
- screen-icon positions fully customizable
- convenient notifications, where and when I need them
- more usable screen space
- the stylus (what I missed most with the iPhone) and note-taking ability
- quick-to-create screen shortcut buttons (so great for quick access to docs I use all the time)

There's a lot more, but those are some of the best features for me. This is just a well thought-out device and a pleasure to use (but not to pay for!).

Best device I have owned. The last time I was this excited about a new phone was with The Samsung Galaxy Note 9. If I could change anything, it would be the lack of external storage. That's a huge bummer. Other than that, this device is rock solid.

This was worth the upgrade from my s22 ultra. I upgraded because I broke my phone, but well worth it mainly for the battery life improvement! So much better and efficient I guess because of new chip set. Also upgraded camera was nice too!
