I traded in a j7 from 2015 for the new s23. My j7 had better battery life than the s23. Samsung rants and raves how great the battery is on this phone and it couldn't be further from the truth.

Despite all the good things this phone has going for it, the lack of a headphone jack is obnoxious. Now I have to spend more money on a clunky converter if I want to use wired headphones/earbuds?? Very annoying.

Howdy S123, Thanks for taking the available time out of your busy day to share your thoughts with us about your Samsung Galaxy S23. Although the Galaxy S23 lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack, you can still use wired headphones that plug via USB-C to listen to your content, or you can use a USB-C to 3.5mm jack adapter if Bluetooth earbuds aren't your cup of tea. Please do not hesitate to contact Samsung Support if you would like to share any other feedback with us or if you would like any further assistance. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer. - Debra

Game Changer

Upgraded from an older Samsung phone to the new S23 and have been having a blast with the device. The battery last for a decent amount of time and allows for nice game time even when away from a charger. The snapdragon chip is also a huge improvement from the previous exynos chips. Super happy with the phone so far!

Biometrics = garbage

This phone has the worst Biometrics I've ever experienced. Neither the face recognition nor the "fingerprint reader" works well. One of the only things I like about this phone, is it smaller size but I can imagine that being off putting for most.

Howdy, Thanks for taking the available time out of your busy day to share your thoughts with us about your Samsung Galaxy S23. We appreciate your candor as we make every effort to improve the design and functionality of our product line. Our goal is for our customers to feel like they are having the most ideal experiences while using our products. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, linked below. Your phone's fingerprint sensor provides a convenient and secure way to unlock your phone and keeps your personal information safe. If you are having trouble using your fingerprint sensor there are a few things to consider. If you are having difficulty unlocking with Face recognition, try the face registration again. Remove the current face data by opening Settings, and then tapping Security and privacy. Tap Biometrics, then tap Face recognition, and then enter your credentials. You can now tap Remove face data to clear the facial recognition data so that you can have a fresh start. When you have the available time out of your busy day, please take a moment to review the articles that I have linked below for you titled, "Samsung phone is not recognizing fingerprints" and "Use Facial recognition security on a Galaxy phone or tablet" to help you resolve what you have been experiencing with your device. Please do not hesitate to contact Samsung Support if you would like any further assistance afterwards. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer. - Debra
It's awfully hard and very irritating to do a screen shot using the buttons or swiping. Neither work easily. Also when entering you passcode, you have to hit ok but didn't have to do this with my s9. Seems to be going backwards in accessibility.

I purchased 2 phones a S23 and a S23+ our new phone are good except that neither phones have earbuds Jack's. Yes I do own a pair of bose Bluetooth ear buds but when the battery goes dead I have no way to listen to music yes I could buy a 2nd pair why should I. Of the phone had earbuds jack I could still listen to music instead of waiting for Bluetooth to recharge. I would never recommend the phone to anyone 😬
