Like all new electronics and improvements there is one thing taken out and Samsung needs to put back. The AOD screen is to washed out. There is no control to brighten up the screen when trying to see the time or charging status in the dark.

Outstanding phone! Best bang for the buck. While the S24 base model is smaller / lighter, it's not as futureproof with only 8GB RAM and a 4000 battery capacity. While the S24 Ultra is more futureproof (better camera and slightly larger battery), it's larger and much heavier.
The S24+ hits the sweetspot, offering great futureproof capabilities and a reasonable size and weight.
