Great phone, high speeds, 5G & plenty of space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my S23 on the fly after my old phone had broken at a public pool. It was one of the best financial decisions I've ever made. While I was previously used to low end, cheap and refurbished phones, my S23 has so far stood the test of durability and time. Even with new models coming out, these phones are very much worth the investment and are very durable.
There's plenty of space for any app you could want, fantastic streaming speeds and great battery life. My phone can charge within an hour and a half with the fast charger and last me for the entire day. It's very convenient for longer trips, which I take often living in a rural area, and for long work days where you can't charge your phone. It also has great compatibility with any Bluetooth or wired audio devices you may own.
Overall, a very good and durable phone, very much worth its price. You won't regret purchasing.

Best in class display and camera, love matte black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Personal use - I use the camera which has 30x zoom on photo and 12x zoom on video features which are out of thus world. Almost feels I have a high powered camera everyday. Watching sports or movies at 5G on this display is a treat. Super impressed about the vivid colors that pop. Watching sports is just like seeing it on the big screen Samsung TVs. A little disappointed by no SD card slot but have now gotten used to it.

Major flaws

1) Compared flagship Chinese phones and iPhone, face unlock is too slow and unreliable
2) Compared to flagship iPhones, the S3's cameras can't capture pictures of moving subjects(e.g. toddlers), mostly blurry free
3)Compared flagship Chinese phones, the S3's fingerprint scanner is too slow and unresponsive
4) Compared to flagship Chinese phones and the iPhone Pro series, the S3's pulse-width modulation setting is too low. Thus, the S3 causes eye strain for me after prolong use.

Significant step-up from previous model (S22)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a base model Galaxy S22 which is my daily smartphone for everything, from personal to work related use. Ever since I started using it over a year ago, it always felt lacking in some aspects such as battery life, in terms of consumption during routine to more demanding tasks day to day. However, I did appreciate since then the upgraded system-on-chip (soc) Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 which proved to perform well until it started heating up, which would cause to throttle back performance, unfortunately. Fast forward to the release of the S23 series, and now I can say undoubtedly claim that Samsung has addressed this major concern with the new devices. The upgrade to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy definitely made a huge (positive) impact on the sustained performance of the new phones relative to the S22, for reference. Furthermore, the consistent release of software updates has to some extent also optimized the phones to where it's better able to hold a charge throughout the day. For the future, I look forward to the next Galaxy S series bringing a much better processor, graphics, battery, display technology, etc that will amaze us users. In summary, I recommend the S23 series to anyone looking for a great Android phone, especially if you're already in the Samsung ecosystem, but really for whoever wants an amazing experience.
