[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Android phone bc I'd always heard Android phones were worse & less secure. That may have been true in the past, idk, but I read it wasn't true anymore. In fact, I read the other OS--which I had heard was unhackable--also has security vulnerabilities that are fewer in number but more severe. I did this research last week when my competitor-OS-brand phone randomly died recently. I'd had different models of that brand randomly break irreparably twice before & was thoroughly sick of finding myself marooned without a phone. Planned obsolescence, I think.
I don't regret the switch at all. This phone cost about half what the latest model of the competitor phone costs. Unlike that brand, this phone plays nicely with my computer & other devices. Eg, I had thought there was something wrong with my new wireless earbuds bc they often skipped. No, it was the fault of my previous phone--despite them technically being compatible with that brand of phone. I bet same-brand earbuds are the only ones that truly work well with that phone, and I bet that's by [secret] design. But they cost more and the sound quality is worse than the ones I wanted.
This phone has ALL the functionality of my previous phone. On top of that, it's noticeable as a new user that it's far more flexible & can be more closely adapted to my specific usage needs. The simplicity my previous phone prides itself on is perhaps just a clever marketing trick to make its many limitations sound like a feature.

Nice Upgrade from the S10 model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy S23 is a great compact phone and nice upgrade from the S10 that I had previously.
I mainly use my phone for social media and shopping, but it is buttery smooth and how fast it loads with the Snapdragon CPU and the UFS 4.0 on the 256gb model. The S23's battery can definitely last all day with moderate use. I can't say much about gaming, but I imagine it can perform well. Just don't know battery can really hold for a couple hours or not.
If I have a few issues is that... why no micro SD card and it is more of my fault for not researching enough, but only 3,900mA battery? Again, only fit so much technology so much and If you do get the Stardard S23. Optimize your battery usage like light performance mode instead of stardard performance.
So far, no regrets and I can definitely recommand the S23 for your next compact smartphone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a week I have been using my Samsung Galaxy s23 and it a awesome experience! The interface is seamless and makes day to day tasks easy. The cameras are too good and the zoom photos you take are the best in class and I really like the feature-rich software experience, and the integration with Samsung's ecosystem of apps and services for a seamless user experience.

This is my very first samsung product and phone, so I felt very overwhelmed by the amount of samsung-only apps already pre-installed on the device, but I quickly got the hang of it.

The phone has been performing as well as I expected. I haven't played any games yet but from the many video reviews I watched about the product, I know I won't be disappointed.
I know I have yet to discover all of the great features the product have, but even with the bare minimun has been great enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I would be utilizing a phone for its camera. The 30x zoom on this phone is not only fun it's very exciting to use. I've used it in the day time to take photos on the bridges, skyscrapers, and even airplanes at certain heights. Easy to use and indint run through a ton of storage either. Perfect for beginners or advanced users. I can tell I'll keep this phone around for a looong time.

Galaxy S23 FTW!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Samsung Galaxy S23 in August. I wanted an upgrade! A phone that's camera would capture every detail and moment as seen through my eyes!
After several hours of reviewing and comparing what Samsung had to offer, I found the S23 was the best fit for what I was in search of!
Once I purchased the phone and got it all set up I was anxious to see if the camera was going to impress, like the reviews I read said it would. I had plans to float and swim all day with friends on the beautiful Chain of Lakes in Waupaca WI. My phone definitely in hand as we began our trip to the lake! When we arrived the sun was gleaming off the lake as boats, paddle boards, and kayaks sailed along. Anxious and ready I pulled my phone from my beach bag and began capturing the postcard-worthy slice of heaven that was surrounding me! The first picture had me in shock and amazed that my cell phone could snap such unbelievably sharp and vibrant colors in each and every photo!! I couldn't put my ohine down or turn my camera off! The pictures had me so enthralled and amused that I just kept snapping more and more!!
The functionalities are very user-friendly and can be learned rather quickly. In my honest opinion, the Samsung Galaxy S23 impressed and surprised me in more ways than one!
This phone is new to me yet. I'm learning new features and benefits daily, thanks to the Useful Tips and Features tab under settings! Certainly more reasons to give this device 5 stars!!
