Excellent Glass Bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favorite glass bottle I’ve tried. The glass is thick and held up well to drops in the sink and falls onto the floor from sofa level. The numbers on it are easy to read when filling the bottle.
I try to limit baby’s exposure to plastic when reasonably feasible, and these glass bottles are an easy way to do it. I don’t worry about warming the bottle in the microwave or warm water because I know there aren’t plastics releasing into it.
Moreover, I think this glass bottle is really easy to clean thoroughly. Milk film gets stuck on plastic bottle, but I never had that issue with this Philips bottle. They were very easy to sterilize, which I do every few weeks in boiling water. Any residue comes off very easily.
The bottles are heavier than my 7m/o can hold when filled, but that doesn’t bother me. We give her open cups when we want her to hold them and do bottle feeds ourselves. The glass is easy to grip for us and she could probably hold it as a toddler.
As mentioned in another review, the corresponding Natural Flow nipples have worked very well for us. She’s able to control the pace well, they feel quality, and they’re easy to clean.
We’ll continue to purchase these bottles moving forward.

Great bottle for breastfed babes

My babe is breastfed and we’ve only found one other brand he truly likes until we tried the Philips Avent Natural glass bottle! He really likes this bottle. He latched well from the first try. He does seem to mimic breastfeeding closer with this bottle than the other brand we’ve been using. His suckle is very similar. The only drawback we found was the weight. He struggles to hold the bottle up because of the heavy glass, BUT we have dropped the bottle a few times now on our hardwood floor, and it took the impact well! Well done, Philips Avent!

Great Bottles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved these Philips Avent glass bottles that we received as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We’ve used this brand in the past but I love the glass option. They are a little heavier than a plastic bottle so it took a little more time for our little one to try and hold it himself but he drank well from them, they were very easy to clean and I feel they’ll hold up very well.
I love the shape of the bottle, it’s easy to handle and I love that it doesn’t have a bunch of extra parts so it’s easy to clean and put back together.
The glass feels sturdy so I think it would withstand certain bumps and falls but with glass bottles we’re always a little more cautious.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Option for Plastic Conscious Families

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a second time mom that's been more conscious of plastics in our household recently. I've slowly been trying to replace our plastics with healthier and more eco friendly alternatives. I was actually in the market for a glass baby bottle when Stellar Product Testing offered to send me this product for my honest feedback and review.
This glass bottle feels really good in my hands and feels very well made. The glass doesn't feel like it'll break easily but also isn't too heavy. My baby had no issues holding the bottle herself either. The bottle nipple is silicone and it uses a plastic ring to fit onto the top of the glass bottle but the plastic part doesn't touch the milk. The milk goes straight from the glass bottle to the silicone bottle nipple, which is a huge plus for me to avoid microplastics in warmed milk.
Speaking of warmed milk, warming up milk in a glass bottle just gives me peace of mind than a plastic bottle. I don't have to worry about the heat degrading the bottle.
It's also super easy to clean. There are only 3 parts to the bottle and I don't need to use a straw cleaner at all. My pinky finger actually fits in the bottle nipple so handwashing is really a breeze. Of course it's also easy to put in the dishwasher too.
The package did come with one bottle nipple and it was a flow level 3 (I believe there's up to 5). It's a good flow for my baby who is 11 months old now. I was also sent a set of level 5 bottle nipples but that was a bit too much for her and I noticed milk dribbling out of the side of her mouth. But for a younger baby or a newborn, I would recommend looking at the lower flow level nipples.
The only thing I wish was different was the slope of the nipple. Since my baby nurses and drinks out of the bottle, I prefer if her latch on the bottle could be as similar to her latch on me as possible. I wish the slope was a little wider and slower from the nipple tip to the base so my baby is able to have a wider latch. But she didn't seem to mind the bottle nipple and was able to drink her milk totally fine.
Overall, I would recommend this bottle! especially for plastic conscious families!

It weighs a bit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel] The Avent Glass Bottle is an excellent alternative to common plastic bottles for several reasons. For me, the primary reason is my concern about microplastics that are often found in plastic bottles.
However, I find that the 8-ounce glass bottle is quite heavy for my 8-month-old with just 6 ounces of milk. I often have to prop it up on a folded burp cloth or blanket or just lean it on my chest because he gets tired after just a minute or so. Additionally, the bottle comes with a stage 3 flow nipple, but my baby is currently transitioning from breastfeeding to full bottle feeding, and that flow is too fast for him. The best nipple flow for him is a stage 2, so I had to use one from another bottle I had.
Overall, I will continue to use the glass bottle because my baby’s growing stronger, and I believe the weight issue will improve over time. I must say, I love how durable it is—my baby dropped it from the height of his highchair, and there wasn't a single chip in the glass, which is highly impressive!

First Glass Bottle

The glass design feels high-quality and durable, giving me confidence in its construction. It held up very well to heat from warming, sterilizing, and repeated washing without any issues. I found it to be safe and reliable for everyday use, and I appreciated the peace of mind that came with using a glass bottle.
My baby was mostly able to control the pace of milk flow during feedings, though I did notice we needed to switch to a faster nipple flow to better match their drinking style. The thing I liked most about this bottle is how easy it is to clean. The wide neck and simple design make it quick to rinse and sterilize, which is a huge plus during busy days. Overall, a great bottle that combines quality, safety, and convenience.

Glass Baby Bottle Review

Wow! The avent glass bottles feel very high quality. We usually use the dishwasher to clean/sterilize our bottles and it performed just as expected to get it clean. The glass bottle came clean easier than the plastic avent bottles.
The only negative to the Phillips avent bottles is the very narrow nipple. It is advertised to be natural response and the base of the nipple is wide but the neck is not. As a speech therapist, I find it very important to use a wide neck nipple more like a triangle shape. Only for this reason, I wouldn’t switch to this bottle all of the time. It’s great to avoid microplastics and it’s a very high quality bottle. I have seen “hacks” online using an evenflo wide balance nipple on top of the Phillips avent glass bottle so I might have to try that.
Overall, this is the highest quality glass bottle I have experienced and is much better quality than the plastic avent bottles. I think it’s important that there are more options for glass bottle and nipple combinations. If your baby is not used to going between bottle/breast and is bottle fed only I assume this would not be an issue!

The bottle looks and feels very strong and high-quality. I love that it’s made of glass—it doesn’t stain, hold smells, or wear out like plastic can. It’s also free of any chemicals like BPA, so I feel safer using it for my baby. It’s a little heavier than plastic, but that actually makes it feel more solid and durable.
It handled heat really well. I’ve warmed it, sterilized it, and washed it many times, and it still looks brand new. No cloudiness or warping, which sometimes happens with plastic bottles.
My baby was able to drink comfortably and control the flow. The nipple seemed just right for now, but it’s nice that there are other flow options if we need them.
What I liked most is that it’s safe, easy to clean, and really well-made. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a long-lasting, eco-friendly bottle that’s gentle for your baby
