Love the glass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these bottles through the Stellar Product Testing Pannel. Absolutely love the glass! It’s feels so sturdy and comes out so clean. Milk comes off so easily which I love. Out of the sterilizer and dyer it seems brand new! I love that I can feel comfortable that my baby is drinking from high quality glass and not plastic. The nipples are perfect for my breastfed baby who has a hard time with most nipple flows being too fast and not paced.

Exactly what I was looking for in a bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knowing the research that's been done recently into the harmful effects of plastics, I knew I wanted to go with a glass bottle. The Avent Glass Natural Bottle came up in a lot of searches, and I've used the shorter 4 oz. version for the last 3 months. I love the weight of it - it's not too heavy, but you can see and feel that the glass is made of solid construction. And I LOVE the little ridges on the very bottom so it doesn't slide and it doesn't get stuck with any liquid on the bottle or on a surface when it gets set down.
Now that baby is 6 months, he's needing a bit more than 4 oz. at most feedings, so when Stellar Reviews offered the 8 oz. bottle for me to give my honest review of as part of their testing panel, I was super excited. The shape of the 8 oz. is the same as the 4 oz., just obviously a little taller, and it's so easy and comfortable to hold. The glass itself is never cold, and it helps the milk temperature stay stable for longer than plastic would. The 8 oz. bottle has the same ridges on the bottom as the 4 oz. version. And when it got dropped once (oops!), the bottle didn't break, chip, or crack! It is absolutely solid glass construction.
The glass is super easy to clean, super easy to sanitize, and I love not having to worry about germs or odors clinging to the glass like I would plastic. On the bottom there is a little "bubble" that I believe is part of the venting system, since it's also seen on the nipple of this same system, and it works perfectly to prevent colic, gas, and fussiness. The no-drip technology definitely lets my combo-fed baby control the flow of milk, and easily transition from breast to bottle without having to adjust his suckling, mouthing, or expectations for milk extraction. This bottle did come with the Flow 3 nipple, which is still a little fast for my almost 6 month old little guy, so we'll keep using the Flow 2 that we already have, and then transition to Flow 3 when his feeding demands call for it.
Overall, I love knowing that the glass is providing the safest environment for breastmilk or formula to be delivered to my son without being contaminated. since this is my third son, I can attest to the Avent Glass Natural Bottle system's high quality materials and effective features after having tried many different bottle types over the years.
Oh, and fun fact - this bottle fits perfectly into any drink coozie so if you're out and about, you can make sure it stays protected!!

Excellent bottle

She is 10 months old so already adjusted to other bottles but took to this one with ease! She had no trouble with the nipple flow and the bottle did not get too hot, even with it being glass. The bottle itself feels very well made and high quality. Would definitely purchase and recommend!

Nice bottle set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using the Phillips Avent glass natural bottle for a few weeks and like it. The bottle, being glass, feels heavy duty. It was easy to wash and sterilize. It held up well and I feel like it will hold up for the long run. I like that it only had three parts that need cleaned and assembled. My baby is 11 months old and primarily breastfed. He did well when using this bottle. He accepted the new nipple with no issues and was able to control the flow well. I think this nipple style/flow was appropriate for him and I feel the design of the nipple is close to the breast. There was one feeding where there was some leaking from the bottle. I am unsure where the leaking was coming from but it only happened once. Overall, my baby and I really liked this bottle and will continue to use it. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this bottle set.

Love these bottles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im a part of the stellar product testing panel and received this bottle set for review. At first I was hesitant about trying a glass bottle but honestly I loved it. Baby is 8 months now and is able to hold his bottle no problem, it cleans up well and due to its wide mouth the amount of spilled formula reduced.
Would highly recommend this bottle type for those trying to reduce plastic usage and also for those who don’t immediately wash bottles after use. I wash bottles at the end of the day or sometimes even the next morning and this brand didn’t have that clingy build up like other brands I’ve used. Due to the wide mouth it is a cinch to clean to weird angled crevices and the marked measurements didn’t fade.

Good Quality Glass Bottle

I was really excited to try a glass bottle finally, it’s actually a really impressively thick bottle that seems like it will hold up over much use and many washes. A nice curve design to fit your hand so you don’t drop it while feeding. I did not experience any leaking and really like how easy it is to wash. The cons would be that it’s slightly heavy, I’m wondering if baby can hold it themselves I’m not sure, but you also don’t want a thin glass that could break so it makes sense. The nipple is a little thin for my babies liking, she likes a slightly fatter nipple so that’s why I didn’t give it 5 stars.

Avent Glass Bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like the glass bottle from Avent. It was a good weight and feels very sturdy, yet not too heavy for my 9 month old to hold on his own. He was able to control the flow of milk well, he didn’t seem to have any issues with the amount of milk that came through the nipple. It did seem to hold heat and cold well. I can put it in the top rack of my dishwasher for sterilization which is fantastic for me. I do feel like I’ll need to get a silicone sleeve for it though, just for drop protection. Overall though, I love the product. I did receive it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Program.

Clear Markings High Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this bottle set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I can say this bottle set is just what I needed, I just didn't know it.
From the beginning I was amazed at the fact I didn't realize how poorly marked my old bottles were. This Philips Avent bottle set has dark graduated number markings and I can't believe how easy it is to determine milk level in low light conditions (late overnight and early morning feeding). Again, this isn't something I knew I needed, but was a surprising benefit to switching to the Avent bottle set.
The most important benefit of this set is the glass. It's substantial, but not heavy, and it's quite durable. Clanking around in the sink didn't cause any issues and like most other glass bottles the best part is its cleanliness. As opposed to plastic bottles, which can haze with age, these bottles clean up well and look nicely for the life of the bottle.
The set which I received came with a level 3 flow rate, which we increased to a level 4. If I could make any improvements I would have used the level 5 instead. The expandability to have so many different flow levels is great. Especially once juice is introduced, as the flow of the two is different, sometimes necessitating a slightly different nipple flow rate.
Overall this bottle was a great product to try and I definitely recommend it to those looking for a high quality bottle that has expandability to grow with your baby.
