Review of Philips Avent Glass Natural Baby Bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Philips Avent Glass Natural Baby Bottle for a few weeks now with my 17 month old son. He typically has one bottle when he wakes up and one before bed. This bottle has worked great for us and I would give an overall rating of four stars based on the following:
Appearance
- The bottle is the perfect size allowing for 8 ounces of milk.
- It is not too wide and not too thin, so it is very easy to place in the side of a diaper bag.
- As the title suggests, the bottle is glass. On one hand this gives me piece of mind that this bottle is very safe and free from any toxins, however the flip side does mean that it is heavier than plastic bottles and breakable.

Cleaning
- These bottles are a dream to clean. Cleaning bottles can be such a chore, but these bottles are so simple, with very few and easy to wash pieces. It makes cleaning fast and simple.

Usage
- My LO took to the bottle very easily. No transition period needed.
- The nipple has been great. My LO tends to move around and puts his bottles down and then picks them back up. With other bottles this has been an issue because they start to leak on our couch, however with these nipples I’ve noticed very minimal leakage. My couch is very happy!
- The only concerns I’ve had with the usage of this bottle is the glass. My LO sometimes throws his bottle when he’s finished and I’ve been a little worried that he’s going to throw it on the ground and break it. Additionally, glass being heavier, he sometimes gets lazy and wants me to hold it for him at the end.

Drip Free Nipple Is a Game Changer

I've struggled to find a bottle that my 10 month old would consistently accept and I was very happy to see her drink a full bottle. The nipple has a no-drip feature so it does not leak. More milk in baby's belly, and none on the couch!
Also the glass bottles are very nice, although obviously heavier than the plastic bottles, and I wish I had bought them in the past.

Perfect Nipple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby was born premature and has been accustomed to direct breastfeeding for quite a while. We were having difficulty introducing bottles and tried all kinds. The Philips Avent Natural Response Nipple was provided to try by the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it was the first one that my baby picked up and instantly took to. I love the no-drip tip because my baby likes to toss the bottle when they are done and other nipples have produced quite a mess. The nipples are wonderful and very simple to disassemble and clean and I believe the design was crucial to how well my baby took to the nipple as it resembles the real thing.

Great Bottle Set!

When my first son was born I used the Phillips avent bottles, but switched to a narrower bottle and nipple after struggling with feeding issues— my son had a lip and tongue tie.
My second son was born this past May (2022) and was a completely different experience. He likes to exclusively breast feed and I have struggled with introducing a bottle. I received the Phillips Avent bottle and natural response nipple set from the Steller Product Testing Panel and decided to give them a go — and my son took right to them!

There are a couple things I love about the bottles— first off, they are glass making them easy to clean and ultimately look more sanitary then the plastic ones after a few uses.
Secondly, less parts to clean and keep track of! These bottles come with 4 parts and that is including a cap. My other bottles have 6 because of the anti colic vent inside that has to be dismantled and cleaned. 7 if you count the little disk that keeps the bottle from spilling. This leads me to the third plus about these bottles being that they have an anti leak nipple so no disk needed!

As for the nipples, my son usually needs a lot of coaxing to latch and take a bottle. He will repeatedly detach and try to root. When I introduced the bottle he had no problem latching or staying latched. He appeared comfortable and remained latched for his full feeding. I am definitely looking forward to the freedom these bottles will provide me with other family members being able to take part in feeding him!
The only thing I will say is that the glass bottle is a little heavier and I would worry about it being flung if he tries to feed himself but, overall there are so many positives about this set. I would highly recommend and will definitely not be using anything else.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Natural Response Bottles

Fewer parts makes this bottle set easy to clean and sanitize! I love how natural the nipple is and how it is a no drip system, my daughter was able to bottle feed effectively! I noticed a positive difference while bottle feeding with these as opposed to my regular brand and will definitely continue to use this brand. I received the Philips Avent Glass Natural Baby Bottle set from Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review!

Glass bottles that dont break the bank

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving these Avent 8oz glass bottles as part of the Stellar product testing panel, I quickly realized that I had been overspending for other brands of glass or silicone bottles. Being eco-conscious it has always been important me to chose glass or silicone and these bottles are simply the best. They are quick to warm up, easy to clean and not too heavy for my baby to hold. The natural response nipple don’t drip but are easy for my baby to drink from. I will recommend both the Avent glass bottles and natural response nipples to all parents!

Toddler experience using glass bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was 13 month when I received the Philips Avent Glass Natural Baby Bottle With Natural Response Nipple, 8oz, 3 pack through the Stellar product testing panel. We recently stopped breastfeeding through the day as she had just started daycare. Prior to this we had used bottles sporadically but now I wanted to send a bottle each day with her to daycare for nap time. I liked that this bottle was able to be stored in the fridge and then heated easily.
She instantly took to the Phillips nipple and I really think it was because of the wide breast like shape and soft/supple nipple. She didn’t show the frustration she has with some other brands at the flow rate or ability to get a good latch.
As an early walker and stubborn second child my daughter likes to walk around the house and carry her bottle (and subsequently leave it places and come back to it, ah toddlers). The glass bottle was definitely a little unnerving for me in this regard. The weight of the 8 oz bottle meant it was harder for her to carry around and I did get nervous when she inevitably dropped it (plus the noise for the neighbours downstairs can’t have been enjoyable compared to dropping of our silicone bottles). On a positive note not once did the nipple leak even when left laying on its side even after being chewed on and wrenched around by my toddler.
Overall we loved the functionality of the nipple but a glass bottle just doesn’t seem practical for the toddler stage of life. I would have loved these bottles when I was doing a lot more bottle feeding with newborn as they are super easy to clean and sterilize and are a natural choice.

Love these so much

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We weren't sure how to feel about the glass avent bottles2hen we got them from Stellar Product Testing Panel; we were afraid they'd break. Nope! They are so nice and sturdy, well made and great quality. Our baby had no issues taking to the new nipple. It's nice and large on the base to mimic the breast. Baby was able to pause while drinking since it doesn't drip.
It warms also so nicely in a bottle warmer. Better than I expected to be honest. And knowing it's glass means no bpa and easy to sterilize.
We will definitely be keeping these bottles. Also, the glass bottle feels like less waste since they won't get all old and gross lol
