Great bottle for baby to breathe while feedi

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the Phillips avent glass bottle through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and my 7 month old took to it right away. We have tried many different bottles with her and she always seems to have trouble with the nipple shape. The natural nipple on these bottles was perfect for her little mouth and even allowed her to take breaks while attached without having formula continue to fill her mouth. I do notice is takes her longer to finish a bottle than with other brands though. I was concerned with the glass bottle concept because I thought it was unsafe and would shatter if it was dropped but the quality of the glass is amazing. It's super thick and sturdy and seems to not shatter.

Great for newborn transitioning to bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Phillips Avent bottles, I used them with my son and as a first time mom who was switching from breastfeeding to bottle, this was a great transition. The nipple is similar to the breast so I feel like it was an easy transition for my baby. There was never any worry of bubbles, as the nipple was formulated to help with easy digestion.
We had plenty of the Avent polypropylene bottle types from my son and were going to use those as well for my newborn daughter. I was looking to order more Avent bottles when I saw the glass bottle availble but was unsure if I should buy it. Luckily the Stellar Product Testing Panel sent me the Glass Natural Baby Bottle With Natural Response Nipple to try and I love it just as much as the polypropylene type of bottle. The nipple provides an easy stream for my 4 month old baby and I have no issues with burping or too much bubbles.
I woud recommend this bottle/nipple for all babies as I have tried other brands and haven't felt the transition from breast to bottle was as easy. My only concern with this product is it is glass and I worry that if dropped it would break. Otherwise, I highly recommend! Easy to clean as well.

Awesome bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this bottle through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I really like this bottle, and so does my baby. I did not receive any silicone sleeves with it, so I was a little worried about it breaking because our whole house is ceramic tile. However, baby did drop it once and it didn't even chip, let alone break! I also thought it would be too heavy for her to hold by herself, but at 9 months old, she can even hold it one-handed. The nipple is very different than the ones we normally use, but she seemed to really like it, and the flow seemed to be good for her, as it does not take her any longer than normal to finish this bottle. I would definitely recommend and would buy again.

Phillips Avent Glass Natural Baby Bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this baby bottle to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. First thoughts out of the box of this bottle was it is really heavy but the glass is nice. This bottle has a wide top and neck which I assumed is to mimic the breast.
Overall, my daughter was not a fan of the bottle, especially after being fed from a different narrow bottle for 9 months. She is also at the stage where she is holding her own bottle and the Phillips Avent Glass bottle was just too heavy for her to hold. Additionally, with glass, I would not trust her to hold it because of the risk of her dropping it and it cracking or completely breaking.
I think this bottle would be good for those who are transitioning from the breast to a bottle.

Excellent Glass bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Phillips Avent glass bottle through Stellar Product panel and it was a pleasant surprise. I personally prefer using glass bottles but was not aware of the Avent brand.
When I received the bottle, the first thing I noticed was the size and weight. The bottles that I had purchased for my baby were either long and heavy or short (5oz) and heavy. The Avent bottle is a perfect medium and it was not super heavy. My 8mo old had no problem holding on to it while she was feeding. Unfortunately, I don't think I received the silicone sleeve, or I may have missed it, but we didn't end up needing it. The curved shape of the bottle made it easy to hold. The second thing that I really liked about this bottle is the wide opening! I love that I was able to scoop in formula one handed without spilling it all over my counter.
My daughter also seems to like this bottle. I recently swapped out the nipple size of her old bottles because the flow was too slow. With this bottle, she had no problem drinking at all. She also didn't have to pause to catch her breath like she does with her other bottles. The nipple is wide and fairly easy to clean and it fits comfortably in my babies mouth. After using the bottle I will definitely be purchasing one more for my in laws house.

A big help for our reflux baby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm grateful to have received this baby bottle to test as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My husband and I have always used Avent bottles and pacifiers, but hadn't yet tried the Natural Response nipple. Our little one has reflux, and the responsive tip of this nipple truly seems to help give her time to swallow and breathe at her own pace. We also love the glass as opposed to the plastic bottles...they feel more substantial and easy to keep clean. FYI, the glass does sometimes feel hot to the touch when using a bottle warmer, but we don't find it to be an issue. So thankful to have found a product that helps keep our reflux baby a little more comfortable.

My 1st glass bottle

I personally had never used a glass bottle before and was excited to try one out. All my baby bottles are plastic and since having our first baby last year I hadn’t had a lot of experience with different bottles.
I did like the glass Phillips bottle and how it was shaped, it was comfortable to hold while feeding my baby. It was heavier than I expected it to be but that is compared to my plastic baby bottles. I thought it was a well made durable bottle and I loved that it didn’t spill or drip if it was tipped upside down or knocked over. I did not receive any silicone sleeve with this bottle though. My baby did seem to notice it was a different bottle than usual because she spit the nipple of the bottle out a few times during her feedings which she doesn’t usually do. She did finish the whole bottle though and didn’t seem to have much fuss over it being different.

Great quality but not for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this bottle from stellar reviews testing panel and were very excited to try something new as we had never used glass bottles before. What really intrigued me was the smart flow nipple though. I ended up loving the ease of cleaning and sturdiness of the glass but my baby and I were not big fans of how heavy the bottle was as she could t hold it independently. I was also so nervous it would shatter as she tried to hold it and would drop it. The nipple however was so great. My daughter seemed to do so much better at pacing herself and being comfortable while eating. I loved it! My only real downside was that I got this nipple confused with my others of the same brand and now have no clue which is which and have noticed the plastic bottles of the same brand seem to leak with some of the lids which might be this one for the glass bottle. Overall great quality and product.
