The sound quality is phenomenal and theres a good amount of bass and clarity. Its heavy duty very well made, good quality. Hooks up to bluetooth with ease. Love that its portable. Nothing but good things to say. Long lasting battery life as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband works in a factory and has been taking this to work. He loves it. He said it is super easy to connect to, and easy to transport. He also told me that it's actually fairly easy to hear over the machines at work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow I am completely impressed by the Sony XE300 X series portable speaker, it has a great sound quality and Bluetooth capabilities to answer my phone while I’m listening it lets me pause music and answer! I love that it has capabilities to be a sort of surround sound if you connect it to another one like it! It has wonderful sound quality and plays very good! So far it has held a charge very well also. I would definitely recommend and will probably purchase another so I can have the same music In two rooms!

An audiophile's dream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Without a doubt the X300 is the best portable speaker in its price range. The sound quality this speaker delivers is top notch. Excellent treble and mids plus liekly the best bass Ive heard from from a speaker of its size. Audio is clear both when listening to music and when using it for a hand free call. The unit itself is clean and slick and there are no visible screws of any type. All the buttons are located right on the side, and even include a battery button that when pushed will tell you its charge so there's no more guessing. Speaking of the battery it charges quite quickly using USB-C and holds about a full day of charge. Being both water and dust resistant makes this a terrific speaker for outdoor use.

Depending on where you set your volume, it’s good for anything from just listening to music in your house to really jamming at a party. The sound quality is so good, it sounds almost like you’re at a concert. Plus, if you download the app you can adjust additional settings to get the exact sound your looking for. Easy to use and to sync. It’s waterproof and dust proof, so it can be taken just about anywhere. It feels like a nice, quality unit that will really hold up. It charges quickly considering how long the battery lasts too. Nice work Sony, this speaker is amazing, I am enjoying my music more than ever with it. Highly recommend, two thumbs up!!

Great portable speaker!

I downloaded the app and paired it and is easy since it tells you what to do. My kids are even able to use it and connect it too. Good size where I know it won’t be lost or too small to find.

Plug in the device, hit the pairing button and find the device on your phone Bluetooth settings. So easy to connect and use. It even comes with a media app to control all your music, volume, and settings remotely. The sound quality is great and the volume is enough to get very loud. I paired mine with my projector so we could watch movies outside-it worked amazing. Overall I feel like this is a top of the line quality speaker and is super easy to operate. Highly recommend!

Great portable speaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Aside from being gorgeous, it charges quickly and hold his charge for a long long time. We only ever need to use it for maximum of 4 to 6 hours and it held during that time. The sound is not too loud and we were unable to use it when our RV speaker broke down because of the excessive background noises. However, for a quieter backyard party this would do great, or an indoor gathering too. Being waterproof helps when you have a lot of kids running around as well. It connects easily by bluetooth, and it was great that you can connect to more than one device at the same time. Did not test the micro phone feature though
