Goes everywhere

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This speaker was incredibly easy to setup and use. There are no overwhelming options or buttons just a nice simple device. I love how small, lightweight, and portable it is. The design is sleek and fits in any background. I was highly dissapointed with the quality of the sound. Music sounds muffled and echoey, like it's far away. I tried adjusting the volume, different songs, and all with the same result. I will be using it for pool parties or outdoor yardwork where the quality of the sound isn't a high priority.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Incredibly Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so dissatisfied with this speaker and honestly really bummed out. As the owner of a Sony XP500, which I absolutely love, I was expecting to love a small, tabletop Sony speaker. That was not the case. This speaker looks similar but that where the similarities stop. The sound is so muffled that it literally made me angry to listen to music. It sounds like I’m listening to a speaker that is sitting at the bottom of a full aquarium. On top of that there is absolutely no bass and no way to adjust treble. Sure it’s dust and waterproof (it states) but none of that matters if you ever want to use it. I’ve had cheap Bluetooth speakers sound better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the size of this speaker. It’s big but still easy to just carry around and has good weight. It won’t just fall over. Very easy to pay with my phones Bluetooth. But I really don’t like the sound. Every kind of music I tried, it just sounds muffled or kind of like under water. Not good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of this speaker is unique, and it’s projection of sound is focused and effective. You can lay the speaker horizontally or stand it up vertically, and the speaker design allows the sound projection from small, tight spaces. Water resistance make it perfect for the kitchen or bathroom, or even listening on the patio when its rainy or humid out.
The speaker connects easily, and was seamless to set up. The speakers can connect to the Sony app, which allows the set-up of multiple speakers via a network. Cannot wait to get more and set up through the house and patio!
One of my favorite features: The battery button that tells you the charge status, which is helpful.

I have the XE200 and it lacked on the low end which hurt the overall sound. The XE300 fixed the lower frequencies and sound full with good detail. Where you place these speakers make a huge difference, in a corner with the 200 helped bass a bunch but the 300 it could be too much bass and get a little boom. I would definitely recommend this speaker and there app.

It's easy to carry around to the beach or anywhere else on the go. The sound is incredible. We used it for our teenagers birthday party and it was so loud I could not believe all of that sound came from that little speaker!!!! It stays charged for days which is a huge plus for me!!! I highly recommend and will definitely purchase a few for friends and family for Christmas!!!!!
