[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cool 3D pen for beginners. It heats up really fast. It's easy to wind the colored wire into the pen. It comes with instructions that are easy to read. I feel like it's safe for older responsible kids. It does get really hot at the tip so you have to be careful. It's definitely a my first pen. As you practice more you become better at it. I do feel like it kind of folds at the tip of the pen so you have to really work with it and go slower or faster depending on the shape you make. It's a fun activity.

The pen is lightweight and comfortable to hold, and the included stencil book made it much easier to start creating right away. We loved that it came with multiple PLA filament colors because it made the projects more exciting and colorful. There is a small learning curve at first, but after a few tries it became very easy to use. The quality feels great, the materials seem durable, and the functionality works exactly as expected.
