I bought two of these after having lightning-related issues with various items in my home. Better to be safe and have new surge protectors than be sorry and have ruined equipment! I was pleased with the design. The outlets are spaced far enough apart that I could plug in the myriad of plugs/bricks associated with computer stations in today's world. The same is true for the TV and its peripherals. It has a high Joule rating and LED lights to alert the user if things are working properly. In addition, it has a lifetime warranty and $150,000 Ultimate Lifetime Insurance for connected devices. I'm very satisfied.

Nice layout - I like the 90 degree outlet plug and the extra long AC cord. I have connected 2 computers, 2 printers, a router, and a telephone system. 2 of those devices have the large AC adapters, which fit nicely. And there is still room to add more plugs to it. It's great!

I bought this based on a recommendation from The Wirecutter. They like this surge protector b/c when it no longer can protect against surges it shuts down. This is a sure-fire way to know it's time to replace it. Most other surge protectors will keep on sending power to your stuff even if it's no longer protecting them.
