I'm very happy with my purchase. It works as I intended it to do. However, my bad, I should've measured correctly. I needed 12ft cord instead of 8ft. Anyway, I had to do rearrange my setup a bit but nothing dramatic. :)

I bought my first 10-outlet surge protector for my media center. It was easy to set up. I liked it so much that I bought a second one (to replace a very old surge protector) for my computer room. I like the LED lights that tell you if the protector is working and if it is properly grounded.

Plenty enough receptacles for my audio/video equipment. What sold me on this one is that it will shut power off to my equipment if a surge stops it from protecting my equipment not just change a light color.

A Surge Protector that turns off when compromised

This surge protector has several excellent features. It is the first I have ever encountered that will shut off if protection is compromised; others give no warning unless the power surge is strong enough to leave visible damage. It also has 10 outlets, 8 of them spaced far enough apart to handle bulky power supplies. Other handy features include a side plug and protection for phone lines.
