I used this surge protector to plug in a small stereo, a small tv, a small lamp, and a digital converter with an antenna full time. I plug in an iMac and a couple of exterrnal drives as well to make sure they are protected, I rely on the many positive reviews of this product. I also agree that initially it was difficult to plug in many of the devices but after use this ceased to be.

I have this mounted to my computer desk to get it off the floor as its about 11 inches by 5 inches wide. I have several computer components hooked to this like cable modems, printers, external hard-drives etc. I think its a shame the electric plugs have become so big and several plug in sideways now. This surge suppressor allows me to hook them all in. It is all around well designed and allows me to use one surge protector instead of two and it appears to be superior in quality. There are many good reviews of this product.

I like the form factor of the strip, with the spacing for transformers, and more than enough outlets for all of my devices. Also from what I've read from other sources, the best protection for my devices!

I have been a fan of Tripp Lite since I read about it in Consumer Reports at least 20 hears ago. I read about this one on AVS Forum. It was a very comprehensive review and it was very thorough. I especially like the fact that this model quits working when it no longer protects. That way you don't have to worry about whether the unit is still working or not and you don't lose valuable electronics that mean a lot to you. This thing is built like a tank as all Tripp Lite products are. I think they are the best. This unit has four plug-ins that are designed to accommodate block plugs. That is very helpful! I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs a superb surge protector.

Item arrived on time and easy to install. Some reviewers posted that it was difficult to plug components in but I didn't encounter that problem. Outlets may have been a little tighter than normal outlets but that might be expected in a device that hopefully prevents arcing in the event of a major power surge. Obviously I can't comment at this point about how the item works.
