Excellent Choice

This router solved all of my connectivity issues. Set up was super easy using the Netgear app. Had the router installed, configured and all of our devices connected in less than an hour. This included reconfiguring all of the smart home devices. This router is handling 20 plus devices in a 3200 sq ft home.

Great as an AP for ATT

Initially I setup my Netgear Nighthawk as a router behind of my AT&T Uverse gateway router. That setup resulted in poor wireless performance (Even with Wifi disabled on AT&T Router). Then I left AT&T wifi disabled and configured my Nighthawk router in AP mode and my network has been fast and stable ever since.

This is an amazing router and I am more than happy. Setup was a breeze and the coverage I get in it is amazing. This router literally works all the way down the street almost. The smart Triband WiFi is amazing so you don't have to worry about switching between 2.4g and 5g it does it for you. I am so happy I bought this

Fast & stable wi-fi router for 1gig internet

Easy setup using App and I get wi-fi download/upload speed from 2nd floor closed to those of when I connect directly to Ethernet port from Modem. This could be because my new wi-fi PCIe network card that I have just upgraded can support internet speed of upto1733 Mbps. It covers area of 4,000 sqft with no issue. Love it.

Can I start off by saying WOW!!! I truly love my router... It has helped in so many ways. I have 3 different speeds. I can control what time the kids get off the Internet. I can see who is connected. I have a separate guest login for my guest. Plus a million other reasons. I am so happy with my purchase. I am happy with my equipment!!!!

Router is very fast; fastest speeds I've ever seen for home use, consistently at or over 117 mb/sec on Wi-Fi - and my service is only rated at 100 mb/sec. Speed decreases slightly when on Wi-Fi upstairs in my home but it's not noticeable. I wouldn't even know there is a speed decrease if not for speed testing apps. Excellent router overall.

Best buy made

Had an Linksys E8400 router that was somewhat doing the job but would run into issues with it randomly dropping devices off the network. Was to the point where I was just accepting it. Then I decided to upgrade to Nighthawk X6S. Easy setup and pretty much hassle free. No issues of WiFi dropping out on my phone or buffering on any of my FireSticks.

I tried to use a few different routers, Google Wifi, Orbi mesh WiFi, D-Link, but my older devices, Ring SpotLight Camera, Ecobee thermostat, won't get connection since those routers cannot recognize and give 2.4 GHz channel automatically, and had difficulties to work with them. But, this NetGear X6S, super easy to setup and speed is great and the best product in the market!!!
