[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely expensive docks that constantly need to be restarted to work properly. This is unfortunately a recurring and consistent issue we have experienced with every version of the ThinkPad Thunderbolt docks from the first versions to this newer version.
It is at best marginally better than plugging all the cables in manually, and if the office weren't the one paying for it, I would never buy it.

DisplayPort above the HDMI port causes the external monitor to flicker every 10 seconds or so. Each time it takes 1 to 2 seconds for the screen to come back. Sometimes the screen sequences through red, green, blue, white and black repeatedly. I've tried swapping between monitors and the issue follows the port on the dock. Tried a second dock with same results. My work around, while I wait for this case to be escalated, is to use a USB-C to DisplayPort cable and use one of the two USB-C ports on the dock. Note that I am using this dock with a new ThinkPad P16s. Firmware was downgraded, upgraded, driver on PC upgraded. Apart from this rather significant flaw, it doesn't work too bad. I've had one other display issue using the HDMI port where the screen kept going blurry. Unplugging and plugging in the dock fixed that.
