Exterior monitors flicker to black screen randomly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ahve two external monitors connected to this dock. Everytime I try to stream a video the external monitors go black. Lenovo tech support has replaced the docking station 3 times and every one has the same issue. They say they are working on a solution, but cannot say when that will happen. For now, if you are considering a docking station, maybe look at another compatible brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dock makes having a laptop replace a desktop a snap - without sacrificing ports or external monitors. I greatly appreciate the design of the connector cable with the power and Thunderbolt leads snapping together magnetically instead of being a single unit. This allows you to use it as a regular USB-C/Thunderbolt dock on other systems without Lenovo's power plug while perfectly aligning to the power/Thunderbolt ports on my P17. Reliable connections, great size for a desktop, and the added USB-A/C/3.5mm combo jack on the front means you can add or remove things easily too. Definitely recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using this unit with a P15 Gen 1 and it works fantastic but I did initially have some issues. The fix to the issue, the P15 randomly turning off, was that you need to plug in the docking station power first, then the Thunderbolt. When done this way the Thunderbolt can be used to startup the P15 and all is well. I have had zero issues since discovering this odd little issue.

Connect both your 4K monitors (or an 8K) to your dock, your keyboard and mouse charging cables, a hard disk, webcam, and more. Then just connect a single cable to it and everything works. Simple and effective.
