[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hardware is nice, although larger than I expected. However, I've not been impressed with the functionality. Many times there's a whole routine to get the external monitor to work after a sleep, hibernate or reconnection. Even when it works, it's slow to figure to get the signal to the external monitor. All in all, mostly frustrating. I could have just bought a desktop computer for the price and never bothered with connecting my laptop to my monitor, keyboard and mouse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
