Superb all around scanner for office or heavy home use.

This is a review for the Epson DS-770 II Color Duplex Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This is an exceptional scanner that can easily handle a multitude of tasks. It has a very small footprint and as such can be placed almost anywhere in your home office or business configuration.
I was able to scan years worth of files and documents along with a large amount of personal information as a backup online in case the originals get lost. Using the included Document Capture Pro software, it's a cinch to upload everything to your Google Drive, Evernote, or a number of other destinations.
The only small drawbacks for me were the lack of wifi/Bluetooth connectivity and more robust photo scanning. It's understandable, though, considering it's geared primarily for office use. All in all, it's a very adept and fast scanner that should take care of 95% of your scanning needs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect document scanner for home office!

This is a review for the Epson DS-770 II Color Duplex Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.
Packaging: I was very impressed by how well the scanner was protected. There was a very small chance the scanner could have been damaged during shipping and that put my mind at ease once it arrived.
Assembly: After unwrapping each piece, the scanner set up quickly using USB 3.0 without any issues. The instructions are helpful and it took just a few minutes to get the scanner working properly. I also connected straight to my laptop and I liked the ease of that much better.
Size: It`s so compact! I was expecting something so much bigger but the size is great for a small or large work area because you can easily push it to the side, or store it away until it is needed again. This is perfect for someone working remotely.
Feature: It is fast, scan up to 45 ppm/90 ipm duplex scanning, compatible with most document management systems, It has enhanced features including Slow Speed Mode, programmable jobs, and a peak daily duty cycle of up to 7,000 sheets, it can scan to Evernote, SharePoint, Google Drive.
Usability: The user interface is very user-friendly. There are no problems with set-up or instructions. You can figure it out with little help.
Expectations: I was expecting something much larger and bulkier but I got a cute, compact machine. It was perfect for my work area.
Improvements: The machine is great but a nice upgrade would be to include ID card scanning capability.
Overall: I am obsessed with this little machine! I was able to get rid of three folders of "important papers". They are now all labeled, sorted, and electronically stored. I will highly recommend this product.
