We received this item sooner than expected. It is easier to have two people to hold and screw it in place. The buttons require only a soft touch for the power/fan to start working. No cooking odors with the fan on anywhere in the house. (If you forget to turn the fan on while you were frying onions/fish, and garlic for 30 minutes, there would be an odor accumulating in the hall/living room. But once the fan starts working, the odor fades away.) So far we are very happy with it. It is powerful, loud, but not annoying. The sound is pleasant. Has a few settings for lights with a bright option. What sold us on this product is a 2 year company warranty. Looking forward to auto clean.

Sucks all the smoke out of the house

I've had this vent hood installed for about a month now, and absolutely love it. As another reviewer said, this thing is so powerful that you can suck a turkey off your stove and deposit it into the yard (which is what sold me on it). Hood is quiet on the settings 1, 2, and 3 and very reasonable at the higher settings as well. It sucks out both smells and smoke - which are giving my fire alarms a nice break.Had to make a couple of minor customizations so that I could use this hood. First, since the cabinet above the stove didn't provide enough clearance for the hood, I had my contractor build another "fake" cabinet. Then, we had to use semi-rigid vs. rigid vent material because there is a gas line directly above my stove and we didn't have enough space to turn rigid duct work.Only issue I have (and I believe others have had the same issue) is that at the low settings (1 and 2 bars), there is a constant humming sound. Hood was leveled as per directions, but still the sound won't go away. Kind of annoying, but livable.

The Good and the Bad

Beautiful under cabinet range hood PS10. It does have professional performance when pulling smoke and grease out of the kitchen. However, the clock only has military time and there is no way to set the clock differently. I prefer regular time. Also, there is a problem with the clock running extremely fast. It has gained 27 minutes in 3 weeks. If it had not already been installed, I would return it because of the clock.

What a Hood Exhaust. Must say more than expectations. Its been more than month now. I must say its really good one. I did my whole kitchen renovate and Making everyday indian food with spicies I was worried about having durable good quality hood exhaust with higher CFMs. Have to say so far we hardly went up higher speed from three speed selector. The lower speed is more than enough and didn't needed higher speed so far. Definitely recommend this one. ONLY ONE THING ITS VERY HEAVY AND NEED TWO PERSON TO INSTALL. But im happy after installing.

Strong suction, easy to install

This model is easier to install than most models. The screw holes are cut in a way that if the screws were pre-installed on the cabinet first, the hood can be lifted up and hang onto the screws, it make the installation much easier (I will give another half star if a cardboard screw holes installation template is included in the package). The suction is as good as our old hood that cost double. I took one star off because of two reasons: 1. A cheaper model from the same manufacturer included a delay off timer, this model don't. 2. The LED is too weak (3W) and at an odd angle. The outside stove is only half illuminated. It is easy to fix, I replace the LED with wide angle 6W LED but I shouldn't have to do that myself.

Good Cooktop Range, Lights are bright

Venting is good, multiple speeds, seems to be working well. Lights are bright and touchpad so far works well, we will see how it holds up based on other reviews. Only issue I had is that the adaptor to connect to your venting is somewhat short and barely poked though my cabinet base and was hard to get the venting to attach to it. Less than a 1/4 inch of it was able to be mounted to so it need some good ducting tape. Maybe that's just my house but this was a standard set of cabinets. Other than that, works well so far.

Every thing is good about this range hood:- Good looking- Easy to use- Install is easyexcept for 1 thing that some of other range hood can do is that it's a bit noisy, it's not too bad compare to others but it's not the best out there when it comes to noise.I couldn't give it 5 stars because of this.
