Looks nice

I used a 6 3/8 hole saw to avoid a 7"x7" ugly square hole in the cab. A long flex bit extension was then needed to install the four screws easily while holding the fan in place with the 6" alum flex duct already attached. I tossed out the screws that came with it and used slightly beefier ones. The foil tape that came with it was very thin, so tossed that and used my own. The unit looks nice and seems to work OK. I did this for my kid, and the fan is not any more noisy than the GE over range microwave 400 CFM fan I have.

Hood Review

We are very happy with this hood. The fan has three speeds, the highest of which is quite powerful. (The highest speed is a bit loud, but not too bad.) The light has two settings. The look is quite nice. Never thought I would be particularly moved by a stove hood, but this one is quite nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for space and much better ventilation

Great for our space and needs, we changed from a over head microwave hood, which was not great and i wanted an actual hood. This is perfect, low speed does it for most cooking, high does it when we start to burn or cook some fish. Just over a month and no complaints from the family. Way better with flow. Lights are very bright and great for over head cooking. Only down side would be the button beeps are loud, but i mean, not that big of a deal with all the extra suction we get and way better ventilation. We have not had to clean the filer baffles yet but i think it should be easy to throw them in the dishwasher, so we shall see

Great hood

I love this hood. The low setting is very quiet and the high setting works so well to get rid of all the smoke very quickly. Wish we had got rid of our old range hood and gotten this one a long time ago.

I'VE HAD THIS Stove hood for few years, no problems except the lites
need to be replaced once aprox a year. they are wired in type, can't buy them from a store,
I wish l could replace them myself, would be a whole lot easier

The hood is great! It is very quiet on the low setting, and sucks air well on that setting as well. On higher settings it is louder, but it displaces smoke and steam so well the trade off is worth it. It’s also so easy and simple to use. Looks great as well. Only complaint is that it is not no smudge stainless.

Outstanding product - affordable and effective

I had to do a lot of research on buying a new under-cabinet over-range hood. Earlier I was using the one inbuilt with microwave and it was painful, it was spoiling the microwave and didnt help with odor and oil. We do Indian cooking involving lot or frying, so we needed something really effective. Last Thanksgiving, I came across some amazing reviews of Hauslane and decided to try it out. And it turned out to be an amazing choice. With three levels of speed, I can adjust it to my cooking. And trust me, I fry fish at level 3, and no one coming into the house knows it. The best part is the maintenance, you dont have to deal with messy net like filters, Baffle filters are very easy to wash, and no oil drips. The sound is also not too loudy and very acceptable at level 3, of course you cant expect a hood to silently get all the smelly oils out.
Overall, a great product.
