I mean, here I was thinking that Apple was the only one that can provide me with the basic necessities of a smartwatch given that communication is paramount. My GOODNESS! Does this watch deliver all the necessary communication capabilities. All of the notifications are delivered in the most apparent way. There's no lag in terms of wait. It's there when I need to look at it. I like this watch. If all I needed was for the watch to inform me of what's going on with the phone (notifications), then this is IT for me. It can also allow me to track myself. GPS co-ordinates are easy to store. I can trace back to that corner of the strip mall if I want to. GARMIN's good!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Battery lasted 4 days, missed sleep Fitbit better

My Versa2 finally crashed after 4 years. After much research and knowing that Garmin has been in the market for a long time I decided to try this watch. I am returning for the following reasons
Battery lasted under 5 days (not up to 28 days)
Missed 3rd nigths sleep for no reason
Archaic with button technology and no touch screen
still over priced at $259

Heart rate monitor is useless. Shows 20-40 off

Heart rate monitor often shows 67-107 mid workout out. A quick pulse check with a clock shows it's off by 40 minimum.
Yes I have it in the right spot and tightness and have reset it etc etc. Not my first rodeo.
Step counter seems fairly accurate which is all I really needed it for.
Should have bought a 40$ watch instead.
No way any of the other information that uses HR to calculate is accurate then.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

purchased mainly for cycling however the defaults settings are a little overwhelming so it took a few days to figure out whe was needed and what could be removed - good for heart rate, sleep patterns. Face is a little hard to see with my 63 year old eyes

Have had this watch for about two weeks now, and am very impressed with its functionality, comfort and aesthetic. Excellent value, having purchased it on Black Friday sale. Hope to have it for a long time!
