Had HVAC licensed AC company install to ensure warranty is covered (as Honeywell explains). I am impressed with this thermostat. Easy to use, easy on the eyes, and I appreciate the options to adjust to save money.

I have not read the manual entirely, but I found a page that describes how the thermostat tries to reach the temperature desired at the time specified. The guidelines should have carried a large warning about that feature. This box has frozen - and

Temperature indication is either not sensitive or not accurate. Furnace turns on/off at set-point but indicated temperature did not change. Placing a second digital thermometer (at the same location) show changes of 0.5 to 1.5 deg F though.
