I can't use the app on my phone on just my local area network. I must have an active internet connection for the thermostat and that's not only a security concern for me but a privacy one. Make the thermostat so I can use it on my LAN only!!

Well.. the thermostat seems to have a mind of it's own... II never scheduled any start & stop times bu your device does just that... I tried clearing the schedule and it does say canceled .. still goes on...

The thermostat that came with the unit was ok, but I liked the Honeywell WI-FI 9000 7-Day Programmable thermostat for the looks and features. Very nice unit.

So far I am loving this thermostat. It is a replacement for a 20 year old Honeywell prgrmbl thermostat. I love that it works with my Alexa. No longer have to get out of bed and walk into the other room when I wake up hot in the middle of the night!

I had to call tech support to figure out where one of the mystery wires went to...other than that I'm happy with the thermostat.

Easy to install. Lots of features. Smaller than I thought. Need to paint around it as it did not cover bare wall where former Honeywell setback thermostat went. Smaller, but far easier to read than old one.

Overall, it gets the job done. Other than a little occasional difficulty with connectivity, I have been happy with this product.
