Display quality is excellent and well organized - bright and easy to read in daylight or no light. Rare in the electronics world, its menuing structure is logical and intuitive: Easy to figure out and use, and to quickly adjust time, temp, hold, etc.
Great that it gives both inside and outside temps!!
Suggestion: would love it even more if this non-wireless version would beep at a given temperature, if set to do so, to tell when the outdoor temp is at the set point to open/close the door/windows for the sake of comfort and $savings. When I recently had to get estimates on a new HVAC system, all the companies recommended this particular unit as the easiest to use and most reliable. In my experience so far, they were right. ***I hope they will update the app soon to enable giving notifications for those temp settings/changes. What a great selling point that will be!

We have a second Honeywell Wi-Fi 9000 in our Florida home and our primary unit is in our New Hampshire home. We can always be in touch with local conditions regardless of the location and especially when there is a power failure that may require immediate attention. A good, solid investment to have peace of mind.

With the WiFi 9000 Thermostat you know longer have to worry about your home temperature settings while traveling I’m now able to adjust the settings while I’m away and start heating/cooling on my way back home. Great thermostat for any home/business
