I have 3 of these thermostats in my home. They are well designed and perfect for use in non-bedroom scenarios. The general aesthetics and regular visual options are a 10/10 and the app and online functionality is easy to use. I would give this thermostat 5 stars and a 10/10 but there is a flaw that affects use in the bedroom and is problematic for my wife and I. Every night at 2:00AM the LED enters a bright screen save mode. We like our bedroom pitch black and the screen saver is like having a nightlight up high on the wall. There should be an option to adjust the timing of this mode but there isn't and it's locked to 2:00AM-3:00AM, so it affects me every night, 7 days a week. If it were set to 11AM, I'd see it on occasion but instead it affects me nightly.

I had high hopes for this thermostat, but aside from its good looks, Wi-Fi connectivity, and the standard functionality expected of a modern device, it doesn’t offer much else.
The Auto Changeover feature is disappointing - it enforces a 2-degree gap between heating and cooling, which is too wide for comfort. I understand there are challenges in refining this feature, but at the very least, users should be able to reduce the gap. Since this is marketed as a professional installer model, the professional could advise the user about any drawbacks of setting a smaller gap. And honestly, what’s so technically challenging about this model that it even requires a professional installation?
The most important missing feature is a runtime counter for heating, cooling, and ventilation. In today’s age of energy awareness, that should be a must-have.

A new heating and air conditioning system was installed in our home along with this wonderful touchscreen thermostat. The 2 best things about it, is that it can be locked and controlled by an app on my phone. My husband has a brain injury and tends to change things around to what he perceives to be the best thing. Since this thermostat has been installed I don't have to worry about heat in summer and air conditioning in the winter. So far it has been properly doing its job, the app and touchscreen are both easy to use. I am very pleased with this thermostat.
