So far so good. I had a Nest thermostat that was always tweaking itself and fighting with my Bosch heat pump. So glad to change to the Honeywell thermostat. No more nonsense going on.
We had a contractor install a malfunctioning Wi-Fi thermostat only to remove it less than 24 hours later. He suggested purchasing this thermostat in particular, stating we could just ‘slap’ it on and it will work. Once we received this unit and put it in place, we discovered that it requires a licensed contractor. We shipped it back the next day. Not happy with available HVAC contractors in this remote area.
At this time still without a Wi-Fi thermostat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice with one problem - For some unknown reason and regardless of background "color" scheme setting, the unit illuminates into a BRIGHT white background in the middle of the night lighting up the whole hallway. There is no setting available to turn it off. You have to either cover it before bed or get up and "touch" the screen where it returns to the previous custom background setting.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to rate the Wi-fi 9000 color touchscreen thermostat. This feature is in place to prevent the screen from burning out and cannot be disabled.
Display is pleasant but the scheduling is totally manual for Away or Vacation times in that it fails to offer “modes”. It requires day by day changes when scheduling such times. Additionally, 1 of my 3 thermostats seems not change the heat set point per the schedule. It’s an hour off like it’s in different time zone.

Hi, it sounds like you may have the Smart Response Technology enabled on one of your units, this feature starts your schedule early, you can disable this by performing the following. 1. Select Menu. 2. Select Preferences. 3. Select Smart Response Technology. 4. Select Off. 5. Tap Done to save.
