I recently had 2 of these Honeywell thermostats installed by Preferred Services while they were replacing our hvac. The Wifi 9000 thermostats work very well and are easy to program schedules. My wife especially liked that the background color of the screen can be changed to match our interior paint color. I definitely recommend this thermostat.

So far its been great. A little more tec then what i need or understand. But we were able to install easily and figure out most things. I have an app on my phone which is great. The bad part is i locked the box so the kids cant play with it. And we have a code. But dont know where to use code at. So my phone is all we have.

We have owned the Honeywell 8000 model for many years. We upgraded to WI-FI 9000 model when we replaced our 19 year old furnace and heat pump. We decided the convenience of having a Wi-Fi model would be a good idea since we are starting to travel more and a lot of the home is going to Wi-Fi controlled.
