It is everything I had expected as it controls an Amana PTAC in my all-seasons room. The Wi-Fi feature is great. Only reason for not rating 5 stars is that strange looking sleep mode screen with the washed out colors that happens every now and then. I found it documented in a review online. It is a known issue, and I would expect a company comitted to quality would have addressed it with a firmware upgrade.

Great unit! Large lighted screen with intuitive programmable display. Display colors can even be chosen from a variety of options.
Previous thermostat had digital display, but not lit, so we had to use a flashlight at night or turn on the light. No more of that!
