I like the thermostat, I Purchased three, they were easy to set up on my Wi-Fi. The only downside is that they do not track their performance, so I can’t tell how Long by units were home. I will try to upgrade to a thermostat that will do that in the near future.

Top & bottom of touchscreen is VERY hard to get any response from touching; I had to leave a stylus sitting on top to do any changes, it's a bit better but still didn't. The other sections of the touchscreen are just ok to respond, not super great, normally takes two or three times to get it to respond. That said, I do love the thermostat overall, it has great color options (though would love to be able to select via the app too, why isn't that in there!?) to choose from. All the menus are mostly clear as to what they are but the manual is very lacking in explanations.

This is an easy to use thermostat and allows remote access via the app. The 9000 version has a few more features but the 8500 is also a great device. We've purchased four versions of this thermostat for various locations.

Device works well enough except the touch does not work well on the left side of the device. In order to activate the "Home" button, one needs to press hard on the screen.
