I found this to be problematic. First of all with barely pushing the tabs (2) for installing the wires immediately broke off with little pressure. Then it would not stay on the wall no matter what I did. I took it down and then more tabs (3) broke off when removing the wires for a different thermostat. I sent it back. I had the earlier model this thermostat for six years and it worked fine before it died and I had no problems with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wifi connection is lost nearly every day, even thou other devices do not loose connection. Size and color options are nice, the touch screen is not the most responsive. Since this is an older version maybe the newer versions have been upgraded. Will be using it for dual fuel control.

I like the simplicity of this thermostat and the app is very easy to operate. One feature that would be a great add would be historical information with regard to energy usage. I understand that other thermostats do this. I was a bit dissapointed to see that this one does not do that.

The Thermostat works as intended. It is user friendly in any aspect, the viewing area is just the right size, the programming is easy and so is the functionality of the user interface. A good product for a good price. The unit should come WITH the regular size cover instead of having to order it extra.
