Does everything my Nest thermostat did and more. Very easy set up and scheduling various settings for when your at work etc. Being able to control the ac with the App on my phone is great!

I love my brand new Lennox variable speed HVAC system, but the Honeywell wifi touchscreen thermostat leaves me missing my Google nest thermostat. The Honeywell is OK, but definitely not an improvement over the Google thermostat which felt more intuitive and offered more refined programmability and ease of interface.

We like to set the thermostat to one setting whe we're in that part of the house and another setting when we're not. This thermostat is designed primarily to run programs so in HOLD mode the screen never blanks out. How irritating. The screen is too small and the digital buttons have to be pushed or held, not just touched.

Our HVAC contractor recommended the Wi-Fi thermostat during an A/C system replacement at our home. If proved its worth when on a recent vacation, we raised the temperature of our home when we left, and 100 miles away on our return were able to readjust the temperature using the app on our iPhone, so that on our arrival, the home was cool. Saved us money on cooling and guaranteed a cool home on return. I also confirmed that we were able to read the thermostat while 250 miles away. Nice piece of technology.
