Nicely designed unit, good price

Received the unit promptly. After it was installed by an electrician, it worked wonderfully. My electrician says it's very easy to install if you have the "C" wire. User interface very nice. I have used it with the web interface, but not with my integrated Alexa system yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It was easy to configure the stat to my system. Connecting to the internet and registering is simple but takes a few minutes. I like the TCC app but I also have Honeywell home app as well. I love that I can set notifications through the tcc website and it email me when something is wrong. I only wish it kept up with run time, that’s the only reason I did not choose 5 stars

Doesn't work well with my Trane heat pump.

Nice thermostat but doesn't work well with my Trane heat pump. I had the unit professionally installed by my heating and air conditioning company. Now I constantly get e-mail alerts from the thermostat that the heat pump is not working and needs service. I paid my heating and air conditioning company to inspect the heat pump. It is working fine. That means that the thermostat is not sending me a correct message. Upon contacting the manufacturer's technical support, I was told to disconnect the red wire leading to the "L" terminal which will disable the intended functionality. I can't do it myself, so I need to, once again, pay a technician to "rewire" the thermostat and, in the process, disable the intended benefit of the "L" terminal connection. When I asked Honeywell technical support expert what benefit I was giving up by disconnecting the "L" terminal, he was uncertain.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

missing important features. there is no "home or away" setting so you can save energy while not at the house. you can't adjust temperature in all of the zones at the same time.

Display is a sluggish.
The scheduler turns on my heating hours before it reaches the actual set time, and this affects my gas bill.
There's no way I can share my account with family members.
Very often the cloud connection is broken and I can't control it remotely.
For the price tag I was expecting more.
