Works fine except the unit gets super bright every night from 2am to 3am which is less than ideal for the one in our master bedroom. Cant be adjusted per the customer service person on chat service. Looking to replace all 3 that I bought.
Within days of installation local real estate agents call to invite me to their open house in my area. Spam call protection doesn't know them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The app is not designed with usability in mind and it was designed based on standards from 90th. I am wondering where did they hire developers who do not have a clue about modern design principles and practices. 1. The app does not cover all options available in the thermostat e.g. Vacation mode is not available 2. The first screen is half empty but there are separate screens (System, Fan, Dehumidification, Humidification ) which have one function and one status. Why to have a dedicated half-empty screen? 3. When you go to either the Dehumidification or Humidification screen you cannot see what is the humidity in your house as it shown on the Home screen. 4. The scheduling mode does not allow to add additional periods and does not allow to change names of the period. Did they design it in 90th? 5. The thermostat started “scheduled period” which is not in the current schedule. I have several screenshots proving this... 6. The additional sensor temperature is not shown in any place. Why? Even if the thermostat average temperature of all sensors for decisions, it's helpful to know what is the temperature in every room I have a sensor. 7. Integration with Google Home is rudimentary - it just allow to change temperature. You cannot run the program, charge humidity, and etc. 8. Connection to Honeywell Home does not work... it recognizes the account, it recognizes the location (Home) but claims that Thermostat does not exist...
I hope the Honeywell representative read the comments and takes some actions to improve the app.
Poorly designed interface, app is a worthless web interface. Usability is completely lacking with too many screens and selections for the most simple task like changing turning an AC on. The touch screen has too much latency, lack of sensitivity. You have to select options several times for them to be recognized. The onboard processor is too slow, making a simple task like changing the temperature take up to 1 minute. No connectivity with Alexa or other smart home suites.

Frequent failures independent of WiFi. Then after updating modem and router for every thermostat, it requires signing into WiFi anew. Doing that successfully then requires re-registering the thermostats. Receiving email confirmation of registration does nothing. App still fails and thermostats all say registration required.
Received the thermostat, removed the old one wired in the new one. My old thermostat did not require power but this one does, you can pull power from the furnace terminal strip if you have enough wires in your run.
After plugging in the face of the thermostat, powered it up and it started right up. Setting the date, time was easy. Connecting to my WiFi it four tries to connect but once it did it worked great! The app for my I-Phone down loaded easy and connected, had total control of all aspects of the unit.
The only thing I would change is the key pad size, you need small fingers or a stylist to push the buttons. I tried the WiFi from another state and works fine. Other than that for the price I give it five stars!
Previous thermostat started to reboot itself after 6 months. New replacement started rebooting itself right away after installation. Rebooting several times per hour. Still functional...
