You can't adjust it without leaving a finger print on the screen. The touch screen also is slow to respond, not sensative enough. Also, it should come with a plate that covers up a formerly used thermostat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works well. The only issue ive had is sometimes the touch screen will not always read my finger. The app works great though.

I love this thermostat. It's easy to read. Very easy to change temperature and schedule. I have another thermostat that I would like to replace with the Honeywell, but it is 2 stage communication. I was told Honeywell doesn't have this one. I would buy it in a second, if I can find it.

Drawback: No ability to set the temperature swing differential, the factory preset of 1 degree causes the AC to cycle often.
