The HVAC company that installed our new furnace and air recommended the thermostat made by the same company as our HVAC units. But my wife did some research and liked this Honeywell best. The unit was smaller than it seemed in the photo, but the menu, temp, and up & down buttons are large enough that we can adjust the temp without glasses on. We like the blue background. I enjoy being able to change the settings on the app.

I was very hesitant to install this thermostat because programmable ones can be intimidating. The 9000 and its app are very easy to install and use. It is comforting to be able to check the status of your AC and heating unit while away from home.
