The app does not work. It can be programmed manually but is difficult to schedule. It does control the heat pump which is the basic function.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice Interface, easy to understand and operate both on the unit itself and on the iPhone. Actually, remote monitoring and adjusting works better than any other device I have. Highly recommend this unit.

This WiFi capable thermostat was added to three others, that I have used for more than 7 years. All units are visible from one screen in the app, but individually controllable. Control includes scheduling and alerts. Indispensable.

Best thermostat I've ever had. It has different color backlight options, easy to see at night and gives an accurate read on humidity and temperature. I had an Emerson before this one and this one is 100% better.

I love this thermostat, I can see the screen and all the data as soon as I walk through the garage door. It was easy to set up and I can see the temperature on my cell phone and change the setting with my smart phone. Best upgrade I have done in my house
