Horrible touch issues

I have had this thermostat a couple of years now and the touch issues mean I have to tap literally dozens of times before it responds. It is so terribly frustrating. The screen is pliable and I think that’s the problem. My next smart thermostat will have a hard screen kit some cheap rubbery plastic that doesn’t sense touch. One of the most frustrating things I’ve ever dealt with.

This thermostat needs a way to cause a broad range on and off temperature. The thermostat algorithm is below par. I have to play games with it to make it work right. It also needs to be up with the times allowing separate on and off times for those who have low peak and high peak electricity times throughout the day or night. All can be done with a software update. Are you up for the challenge?

It’s made my life very simple everything you need is on the app on my phone. Easy to control and set up I can’t believe I waited this long to get! Thank you! Also controls temperature in my home better than the manual thermostat I had!

Even though the app will let you program the thermostat to automatically switch between heat and AC the thermostat won’t do it, you have to actually tell it to switch from heat to ac at the time. So if it’s 50* in the morning and 80* later in the afternoon, the thermostat won’t switch itself from heat to cold even if Programed to do so.

This is constantly disconnecting from the internet. It’s almost pointless to buy this thermostat if you’re looking for a WiFi option. I would spend the extra cash and get a Nest. The app you use to control the thermostat is not that great either. It could be a lot better. C’mon Honeywell! Step your game up!

Great thermostat. Easy to set and use. Can set humidity and temperature perameters and you will be sent a text to let you know if there is a problem. Wi fi is a great feature. You can control all things on the thermostat from the phone app. You couldn't ask for anything more.
